Nebraska has four wins but who have they really beaten. Things might be on the come but it is taking longer in Lincoln.
Minnesota is the undefeated team that nobody believes is any good. If they keep winning though opinions may change.
Neither of these teams are bad but just how good they are remains to be seen.
Nebraska Cornhuskers
Scott Frost wants Nebraska to play like this team at UCF. That is not what we got last week when they beat Northwestern 13-10 at home. The rebuild is going to take a lot longer.

They are going to get some players but I am not sure mimicking what worked for him down south will work at Nebraska. I am not sure he is going to be able to get the same speedy players that were all over his old rosters.
Adrian Martinez is pretty good as the triggerman for Nebraska but he left the game last week and is questionable for this one. Without him, this team gets really ordinary very quickly.
When Frost was a player a key to success was a dominating defense. That is also something that has been difficult to reprise with his return, they are mediocre at best.

Given that Minnesota is undefeated I would hate to think they get a layup but if Martinez does not play that just might be what happens.
Minnesota Golden Gophers
Minnesota is 5-0, but none of their wins have come against winning FBS teams and until last week (Illinois) they had all been very close. In short, this team is not as good as its record.
Tanner Morgan is the quarterback this season and he has run with it. His numbers are better across the board and he has shown good poise in close games. He was near perfect against Purdue (95% completion rate) but in this one they probably just need him to not make mistakes.
The Minnesota defense is not elite. They have given up more than 30 points three times in five games. They would get a huge break if Martinez is not able to go.
With every win there is some mounting pressure. This one would guarantee bowl eligibility which is a nice get for the Gophers. No reason to be looking ahead though. Rutgers is next.

Free Week 7 NCAA Football Pick
If Martinez plays I can make a case for Nebraska keeping it close. Without him you have to go with the home team.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Minnesota -7.5
Also not working in favour of the Cornhuskers is their hard fought win against Northwestern last week. The Wildcats are not super talent but they can beat you up.
Minnesota is in a great spot to run this thing for three more weeks until Penn State comes to town. They just have to keep doing what they have been doing.
