The problem is that the defense had no answer for Jonathan Taylor who had 204 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The defense did a good job with Jack Coan who had 162 passing yards.

Kanawai Noa led Nebraska with 72 receiving yards, and JD Spielman had 71 yards and a touchdown. Will Honas and Matthew Berry had 12 tackles apiece for the defense.
Maryland Terrapins
The Maryland Terrapins are coming off a bye week. In their last game against no. 1 Ohio State they were embarrased 73-14. Ohio State scored the games first 52 points in a game, Maryland had no chance.
Quarterbacks Tyrell Pigrome (42 yards), and Josh Jackson (35 yards) both struggled in the contest. The ground game wasn’t much better as they had a total of 62 yards on the ground as a team.
Javon Leake led the team with 55 yards on nine carries. Dontay Demus Jr. had a 26-yard touchdown grab in the losing effort.

Maryland’s defense was a joke as they allowed 705 total yards. Justin Fields who didn’t even play the entire game shredded them for 200 yards and three touchdown passes.
