Friday will be a classic when #10 Missouri and Arkansas meet at at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The Tigers are coming off a victory, defeating the Gators 33-31. Meanwhile, the Razorbacks also secured a win in their previous game, beating FIU 44-20.
Even though I’m backing Missouri to win this one outright, I’d advise going with the moneyline. This game might turn out to be tighter than expected, but I anticipate Missouri securing a victory over Arkansas.
The Tigers have an opportunity to secure a spot in a New Year’s Six bowl game against Arkansas, but the Razorbacks have pride on the line. There’s plenty at stake in this matchup.
For this matchup, I’m liking Arkansas to cover as 7.5-point underdogs.
Arkansas is coming off a game in which they ran the ball well vs. Florida International and should do so once again. Before kickoff I’ll be taking Arkansas on the spread.
Missouri are 2-4 ATS in their last 6 games vs. Arkansas.
On the over/under, I have the best bet being to take the over at 54.5. This looks like a slam dunk bet for me, as my gut tells me the over will hit as well as our model projecting a combined 58 points.
SEC action is heating up as these two teams clash on the field.
The total has gone OVER in 10 of Arkansas’ last 14 games, plus the OVER has hit in 10 of Missouri’s last 15.
