The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs are coming off a 43-31 win against the Florida International Panthers on Friday. Louisiana Tech’s ground attack was too much for the Panthers.
Justin Henderson led the way with 141 yards and three touchdowns on just 15 carries. Jaqwis Dancy went for 73 yards on 17 carries.

J’Mar Smith led the the Bulldogs with 290 passing yards but he had an interception in the game as well. Smith also added 63 rushing yards. As a team the Bulldogs went for 275 rushing yards in their victory.
Griffin Herbert led the team with 78 receiving yards on five catches.
It wasn’t all pretty for Louisiana Tech who allowed 526 total yards. The Bulldogs defense did force two turnovers in the contest.
Rice Owls
The Owls are coming off a 21-13 loss to the Baylor Bears on Saturday.

Rice had plenty of chances in the contest including one late in the game down eight but they were forced to punt with about four minutes to play. Owls signal-caller Wiley Green made his return after missing last week with a neck injury.
Green struggled in the contest going for 128 passing yards on 13/23 completions.
It didn’t help that Rice’s ground game was shut down by the Bears defense. The Owls combined for 64 rushing yards on 35 carries in the contest. Charlie Booker (29 yards) and Aston Walter (11 yards) were completely shut down.
Brad Rozner was a line bright spot for the Rice Owls on Saturday. The receiver went for 100 yards on seven receptions.
Blaze Alldrege had a busy day for the defense with eight tackles, two coming for a loss.
The Owls were out-gained 427-242 in total yards.
