Oh, baby! Now, this might be a game worth watching when the Liberty Flames head to Provo to face the BYU Cougars on Saturday night.
Obviously, anyone who is following college football this year knows what these two offenses are doing as they meet for the first time ever.
As Independents together in this… well, I guess it’s a Conference, right? I mean what the f**K is this thing anyway? LOL
Notre Dame is in this uh, conference thingy too, and guess how many other teams they will play from this lovely uh, conference? No one, nada, and not a sign of an Independent team on the Irish
schedule, so that has Liberty on top of the board at a perfect 2 – 0!
Those impressive wins over New Mexico State and UMass really look good, don’t ya think?
At 6 – 3, Liberty still needs to impress the committee with a 7th win, because this team only has wins over teams like Hampton and Maine in the mix… that ain’t quality people!
BYU comes into this tilt at 4 – 4 and they certainly see winnable games on their schedule to finish out the regular season too. The Cougars are favored by 17 points over Liberty this Saturday and they will likely be strong favorites over Idaho State and UMass too… ya think? LOL
This ain’t Rocket science, it’s college football, baby!

Liberty Flames
Did you enjoy it last weekend? Come on now, you know you loved my 59 – 24 call with Liberty last weekend against UMass!!! Don’t f**king lie to me bitches, I know where you drink! LOL
63 points later and we rolled into that prediction on point, so now what do we do with this BYU team at home too? Liberty is going to shut down the BYU offense?
Wait, what did you just say Ege? No, I mean like do you think that the Flames defense is ready for this trip to Provo?
We all know the Liberty offense is all set in the hands of Stephen Calvert and those 2,638 passing yards tell us as much. Oh, and the 20 – 3 TD to INT ratio ain’t bad either!
Calvert may not be one of the dual-threat guys we see plenty of around the landscape of college football, but he don’t care none and either do we. Dude can sling the rock with anyone in this conference … oh come on, there are only 2 QBs in this conference and the other plays in South Bend, and that ends that discussion.
Calvert’s arm puts up 300 passing yards per game and that has Liberty ranked 19th in the country while also sitting at 36th in the nation in total yards per contest (445.6/G).
Slowing down BYU will be no short order, however, because even with the cake-like schedule for the Flames this season they are still ranked all the way back at 98th against the run (196.4) and 90th in overall yards per game (419.4).

BYU Cougars
The influence of Jaren Hall on this program has been terrific, as he has broken barriers and made history in Provo already. Hopefully, he can get on the field soon although it looks like it won’t be this weekend under concussion protocol.
The Deseret News and the Salt Lake Tribune are both posting articles about who will be starting this weekend for BYU, and it looks like Baylor Romney is going to get the call from all indications.
With Zach Wilson still out recovering from thumb surgery, that leaves the youngster as the best option for head coach Kalani Sitake.
And BYU is favored by 17 points? Hmm, that seems like a big ask for a team like BYU who has their own issues on defense to deal with.
This Cougar squad sits all the way back at 113th in the nation stopping the run, and 91st overall allowing 419.8 ypg.
Can you spell inflated? Let’s just give out the big play and move on here.
