Kansas is still looking for that first win of the season. They might not get one this season.
West Virginia has been a bit better than expectations I think. They should get this one easy.
You never know what the Mad Hatter is going to do so Kansas is sort of interesting, I guess.
Kansas Jayhawks
There are a lot of bad indicators to this season for Kansas. It started with losing to Coast Carolina, probably their best shot at a win.
Following that they have losses to Baylor and Oklahoma State, seeing their point total drop from the opener to 7 against the Cowboys.
There is nothing that we have seen this season that is offering any hope either. In the past, the running of Pooka Williams was a Wild Card. He has not been much of a factor this season.
Hitting the road is unlikely to be the remedy for that is ailing Kansas this season. Instead of taking a small step forward they have struggled even more.
I am not sure what is the best bet for them to get a win this season and what it might mean for Les Miles. This one could get weird, but I am not sure I would bet on that.
West Virginia Mountaineers
We have a common data point for these two team, Baylor. Kansas lost 47-14 while West Virgina beat them at home 27-21. We actually have two. Kansas lost to Oklahoma State 47-7, West Virginia lost 27-13.
We probably did not need those numbers to tell us that West Virginia is better than Kansas but it is nice to have some data in this wacky wild season of unknowns.
QB Jarrett Doege looks like he can give Neal Brown what he wants this season but he has to avoid the interceptions. They almost cost them against Baylor.
The Mountaineers defense has been really good this season. It was a loss but their most impressive game was really slowing down Oklahoma State.

Free Week 6 NCAA Football Pick
I think you have to fade Kansas here. Sure you could try and get cute and talk yourself into a different play but it is either WVU or pass.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: West Virginia -22.5
Normally if I am going to be so chalky I would prefer a more explosive offense but teams look good against Kansas because their offense is so lame.
That creates shorter fields and makes it easier to get points on almost every possession. WVU’s defense s pretty good too.
