At quarterback the Jayhawks are led by Carter Stanley who has been up and down this year, and they need him to be consistent this year. So far this year he has thrown for 861 yards, eight touchdowns, and four interceptions.

On the season the offense is averaging only 25.8 points per game and in this game they need to find a way to have success moving the ball.

On the defensive side they probably need to create a couple of turnovers early, and build on that to give the offense short fields.

TCU Horned Frogs

On the other side of this matchup is the TCU Horned Frogs who had high expectations coming into this season but they need to find a way to rebound off a bad loss.

In their last game they took on SMU at home as 7.5 point favorites, but they couldn’t get the job done and that led to a three point loss.

All season the defense has been good, but they let SMU score 41 points and it led to the bad loss. In this game there is no doubt they need the defense to be better.

This has been a run first time but as they go through Big 12 play they are probably going to need to have a lot better success throwing the ball.
