Bulldogs vs. Razorbacks Gameday
Georgia heads to Fayetteville for its first road game and SEC opener of the 2026 season against Arkansas on Saturday, September 19. Kickoff is set for noon ET at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, with ABC carrying the game.
The Bulldogs arrive 2-0 and ranked No. 2 in both major polls after making quick work of Tennessee State and Western Kentucky. Georgia opened with a 63-3 win over Tennessee State before hanging 70 on Western Kentucky in a 70-20 victory.
Georgia finally leaves Athens after spending two Saturdays treating the scoreboard like a pinball machine.
Arkansas is 1-1 in Ryan Silverfield’s first season as head coach. The Razorbacks beat North Alabama 31-14 at home before getting thumped 43-10 by No. 20 Utah in Salt Lake City.
Georgia owns a 12-4 advantage in the all-time series and has won the last three meetings. The Bulldogs beat Arkansas 37-10 in Fayetteville in 2020 and followed that with a 37-0 shutout in Athens in 2021.

It’s Week 3, Georgia Bulldogs vs. Arkansas Razorbacks, and both teams jump straight into SEC play with considerably different amounts of momentum.
Georgia Bulldogs vs. Arkansas Razorbacks Odds & Last 5
Georgia is a 24.5-point road favorite, with Arkansas getting +24.5 and the total sitting at 54.5. The Bulldogs are also massive moneyline favorites, which won’t exactly qualify as breaking news after their first two Saturdays.
Georgia has outscored Tennessee State and Western Kentucky 133-23. Kirby Smart’s team has scored at least 60 points in consecutive games for the first time since 1915, so the Bulldogs haven’t exactly been easing into September.
Arkansas has traveled a much bumpier road.
The Razorbacks followed their 31-14 opening win with a 33-point loss at Utah, scoring only one touchdown. Now they come home and get the No. 2 team in the country. The SEC schedule can be a little rude that way.
Razorbacks Stats
Arkansas has scored 41 points and allowed 57 through two games. KJ Jackson opened the season by completing 24 of 35 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns against North Alabama, but Utah made his second start considerably less enjoyable.
Jackson completed 14 of 34 attempts against the Utes and threw an interception while leading Arkansas with 34 rushing yards. The Razorbacks managed only 10 points in the 43-10 loss.
Arkansas needs considerably more offense before Georgia turns this SEC opener into another runaway.
AJ Hill supplied some late life off the bench at Utah. The sophomore completed 8 of 14 passes for 105 yards and connected with Ismael Cisse for a 21-yard touchdown.
Chris Marshall led Arkansas with five catches for 63 yards in the loss, while Khmori House recorded his second sack in as many games.
The Razorbacks don’t need perfection Saturday, but repeated three-and-outs against Georgia are an excellent way to make 24.5 points look smaller by the quarter.
Bulldogs Stats
Georgia’s offense has been ridiculous through two games, scoring 63 and 70 points. The Bulldogs generated 493 total yards against Western Kentucky after blowing out Tennessee State in the opener.
Gunner Stockton has been almost surgical.
The veteran quarterback has completed 28 of 32 passes for 436 yards, eight touchdowns and no interceptions. He went 15-of-16 for 202 yards and three scores against Tennessee State, then threw five touchdown passes against Western Kentucky while completing 13 of 16 attempts for 234 yards.
Stockton has eight touchdown passes and four incompletions, which is a fairly obnoxious September ratio.
Nate Frazier leads Georgia with 127 rushing yards, while Sacovie White-Helton has a team-high 104 receiving yards. The Bulldogs haven’t needed enormous individual numbers because their starters haven’t exactly been asked to grind through four-quarter street fights.
Georgia has allowed only 23 points and 439 total yards through two games.
Western Kentucky managed 225 yards against the Bulldogs, while Georgia’s defense has allowed only one passing touchdown and intercepted two passes. The competition gets more serious in Fayetteville, but so far there hasn’t been much for Smart to complain about. He’ll presumably find something.

Bulldogs vs. Razorbacks QB Matchup
KJ Jackson remains Arkansas’ starting quarterback after winning the job entering the season. Through two games, the left-hander has completed 38 of 69 attempts for 406 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions.
The North Alabama performance showed what Arkansas hoped to get from Jackson. Utah showed the other side of the deal.
Jackson needs a major rebound while Stockton arrives in Fayetteville barely acquainted with an incompletion.
Hill gave Arkansas something to think about by throwing for 105 yards and a touchdown in relief at Utah. Ryan Silverfield hasn’t announced a quarterback change, so Jackson remains the guy Georgia prepares to see first.
There is no such discussion on the other sideline. Stockton is firmly established as Georgia’s starter and has directed an offense averaging 66.5 points through two games.
Ryan Puglisi has been able to get meaningful reserve work because Georgia has buried both opponents early. He has completed 9 of 18 passes for 128 yards and a touchdown, giving the Bulldogs an experienced second option if Saturday gets sideways.
That’s the quarterback gap Arkansas has to deal with.
Georgia Bulldogs vs. Arkansas Razorbacks bottom line: Georgia has spent two weeks scoring for fun, but the interesting number in Fayetteville is whether Arkansas can contribute enough offense to make the sportsbooks sweat rather than leaving the Bulldogs to do all the work.

Bulldogs Razorbacks Free Pick: Over 54.5
Here is my Bulldogs Razorbacks free pick: Over 54.5 is my play in Fayetteville. Georgia has scored 133 points in two games, and even allowing for Tennessee State and Western Kentucky, this offense has been moving like somebody forgot to tell it September games are supposed to be tune-ups.
Gunner Stockton has completed 28 of 32 passes for 436 yards and eight touchdowns without an interception. Georgia does not need Arkansas to turn this into a track meet; another efficient afternoon from Stockton can do most of the heavy lifting.
Georgia has already scored 63 and 70, so 54.5 isn’t asking the Bulldogs to reinvent anything.
Arkansas is the useful part of this handicap. The Razorbacks were flattened 43-10 at Utah, but KJ Jackson threw three touchdowns in the opener and AJ Hill provided a spark off the bench last week.
If Arkansas can manufacture 17 to 20 points at home, Georgia should have enough firepower to handle the rest. The danger is a Bulldogs blowout that turns into a fourth-quarter nap, but 54.5 gives us some room before the backups start shaking hands.
My CFB betting approach here is less about an old Over trend and more about Georgia’s current scoring ceiling.
Over 54.5 is my play.
