Last week I took the Cardinals to cover which they did but they gave me heart attack while they were at it.
Malik Cunningham is the most stressful quarterback to watch in the country except for maybe Carson Wentz. He is an incredible athlete but he does not get through his reads very well and is also what I would call a pretty selfish player.
Oftentimes it seems as though he thinks he can do it all himself to move the chains and it’s frustrating to watch. And this week they are going against a squad is very good in the trenches of the gridiron.
So to kick off my college weekend let’s start on the Friday Night Lights game with the Seminoles taking on the Cardinals. Let’s go.
Florida State Seminoles
Florida State beat the brakes off Duquesne in week 1 and then got an impressive victory over LSU the week after where I had them moneyline (humble brag). This team is currently ranked by the committee at 35 which I think is incorrect.
We all hate the committee and their selections though and this team has a tough schedule going forward. They are currently tacking on 392 yards per game, 5.4 yards per play and are 5th in the country for 3rd down conversion rate at 64%.
I love what this team does in the ugly areas of the game though, I give them a massive edge on both the primary defensive front and with their offensive line.
Louisville Cardinals
This team is truly just the Malik show. Their analytics are not great and this line is giving them too much respect in my opinion.
They are not nearly as sound of a football team throughout their depth chart which is why I am going to lay the points with Florida State in this one.
