Alabama has started 2-0 and scored 93 points, so I’m not pretending the Tide haven’t looked dangerous. They also trailed Kentucky 17-13 at halftime before burying the Wildcats after the break.
Alabama may get its revenge, but the sportsbooks are charging full retail for it.
Florida State has won three of its last four following a loss, and the Seminoles covered against Alabama last season. Their 9-10 ATS mark in their last 19 as an underdog isn’t spectacular, but it isn’t why I’m here either.
Ousmane Kromah gives FSU a legitimate running threat after consecutive 100-yard games. That matters when the assignment is shortening the game and keeping Keelon Russell watching from the sideline.
Alabama is clearly the better team right now. Still, my CFB betting system says 19.5 leaves FSU room to lose comfortably without wrecking the ticket.
I don’t need another Seminoles upset. I need them to avoid getting run out of Tuscaloosa.
