NC State has been OK this season. There is nothing in their profile that says they are fixing for an upset.

This is a huge line with a fairly low total so the oddsmakers are not expecting much from State.
Clemson Tigers
Clemson had that one scare at North Carolina but it is not their fault that the ACC is pretty light this season.
They are dominating in all other games and have an average margin of victory of 33ppg on the season. 6th in scoring offense and 6th in scoring defense.

NC State Wolfpack
NC State is 4-0 at home this season so at least they got that going for them. That is probably not enough to tip the champs though.
Last year the offense was good but it helps when you gave a signal caller that is bound for the NFL. They have struggled moving the ball and scoring all season long, averaging just 25ppg.
The defense is giving up about the same but that puts them right at the #50 rank nationally. That is not too bad though they are lacking the playmakers on that side of the ball that they have had in the recent past.
NC State is going to have to be close to flawless to even be competitive in this one. They have not fallen off the map but their ceiling is much lower this season than in season’s past.
