Clemson is likely the best team in the country but we have seen games where they struggle against big numbers, like last week.
At home, this looks like a spot where they can name their score. Boston College might be in for a rough ride.
I do like the Eagles ability to play a little catchup though. They are a better throwing team than they have been in some time.

The Eagles are off a home win over Georgia Tech a team that Clemson dropped 73 on not that long ago. They scored 48, their top output of the season.
This season the offense has been totally changed under the new regime. Jeff Hafley might be a defense-first guy but he has modernized the offense.
It has helped that Phil Jurkovec arrived from Notre Dame. He has had some really big games though last week was not one of them. Just a tidy efficient effort.
Jurkovec will be the key this week and he is likely to have to make some plays with his feet as well as his arm. He rushed for more 90 yards last week.
I am not sure how much the Boston College defense can really slow Clemson down. Perhaps enough to get a cover. Upset? Very unlikely.
Clemson Tigers
Clemson took some “heat” last week for just beating Syracuse instead of clobbering them. That may or may not be a factor for this one.
Also a factor could be that Notre Dame is their next opponent. They are the only team on their regular season schedule expected to give them a game.
It is also quite possible that Clemson dominates the way it has against every opponent this season. They are winning by an average of 35 points, which would get the cover here
The defense does not get enough credit for their success but they will be critical here. They have to find a way to get Jurkovec to the ground. He is stronger and more elusive than most realize. If they can this one will look like the GT game.
