The no. 20 Boise State Broncos hit the road to take on the Colorado State Rams for a Friday night contest. Boise State enters the game as a 12.5 point favorite.

The Broncos are led by George Holani who has 870 rushing yards and seven touchdowns this season. Colorado State on the other hand is led by Patrick O’Brien who has 2,514 passing yards and 11 touchdowns.

Boise State Broncos

The Boise State Broncos are coming off a 56-21 win against the Utah State Aggies. Boise State jumped out to a 42-7 lead at the half and remained in control throughout. Jaylon Henderson went for 187 passing yards and three touchdowns in the win. Henderson also had 45 rushing yards on seven carries.

George Holani led the ground game with 178 rushing yards and two touchdowns on only 16 carries. Andrew Van Buren went for 48 yards on 14 carries.

John Hightower had 56 receiving yards and a touchdown, and CT Thomas had 36 yards and a touchdown.

The Broncos rush defense was magnificent allowing 121 yards on just 3.6 yards per carry. Demetri Washington led the defense with six tackles and a sack. The Broncos forced two interceptions also while not committing a turnover.

Colorado State Rams

The Colorado State Rams are coming off a 17-7 loss against the Wyoming Cowboys. It was an offensive struggle for both teams. The Cowboys out-gained the Rams 273-265 in total yards.

Patrick O’Brien had a mediocre game with 217 passing yards, a touchdown, and a pick. The ground game struggled for the Rams as they had a total of 48 yards as a team on the ground. It was simply the difference in the game. While Colorado State contained the Cowboys pass game they had no answer for Xazavian Valladay who had 154 rush yards.

Warren Jackson led the Rams with 95 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Trey McBride added 78 receiving yards in the loss.
