The Mountaineers are having a fantastic season with their only loss coming to the Georgia Southern Eagles. They will be playing in the Sun Belt title game next week, so perhaps they will just be looking to get in and get out.

The run game is the strength for this team. They are averaging 228.9 yards per game on the ground. This ranks 18th in the country. Against the Bobcats, they ran for 280 yards on 49 carries.
The Mountaineers also have been able to score a ton of points. They are averaging 38.1 per game, which is 11th in the country.

The defense for this Mountaineers team has also played extremely well this season. They are allowing 319.5 total yards per game, which is 19th in the country. Their biggest defensive strength is against the pass, as they allow 176.2 yards per game and rank 8th.
To start the season, the Mountaineers were getting shredded defensively.
