This Tuesday night matchup is an ugly one that will be played by two MAC teams. On one side we have the Eastern Michigan Eagles and they will be playing the Akron Zips.
In last years’ meeting, the Eagles beat Akron 27-7.

Eastern Michigan are coming off their bye week, meaning they have had extra time to prepare for this game. They are demolished by Buffalo in their last game, losing by a score of 43-14.
The Eagles now sit in last place in the MAC West division with a conference record of 1-4. They do still have a chance to make a bowl game, but still must win two of their final three games. They really cannot afford a loss to this terrible Akron team, making this game a must win.

Granted it does not really matter who they play because they are most likely going to lose.
I honestly do not how their can be an offense that is this bad. They are only scoring an average of 10.2 points per game. This is dead last in the country. Their rushing offense is also dead last in the country as they average 52.9 yards per game on the ground.
In five MAC games this season, they are averaging 6.6 points per game. That is less than a touchdown per game in games against opponents that you are familiar with.

The defense is literally as bad as the offense and they just do not stop people from scoring. They are allowing 35.7 points per game, 119th in the country. The most surprising stat is their passing defense. How can this team be as bad as they are, yet they are 18th in the country in pass defense? They are allowing 187.9 yards per game.
