The Falcons defense struggled to contain Patrick O’Brien who had 347 passing yards and two touchdowns. Zane Lewis had an interception and six tackles in the win.
New Mexico Lobos
The Lobos are coming off a 42-9 loss against the no. 21 Boise State Broncos. Boise State jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the first and they never looked back. Tevaka Tuioti finished with 175 passing yards on 14/21 completions for the Lobos. He also had two fumbles in the game.
Micah Gray had 20 rushing yards and the lone touchdown for New Mexico in the loss. The Lobos struggled with their ground game as they had 117 yards on 2.6 yards per carry in the contest. Emmanuel Logan-Greene led the team with 60 receiving yards, and Jordan Kress added 41 yards.
