2018 Football Preview – MAC – Redhawks
Looking for 2018 Miami (Ohio) Redhawks predictions? The Redhawks have talent but last year that didn’t result in wins on the field. They lost too many close games, and that led to them missing out on a bowl game. This year it’s much of the same with a good team on the field. They need to make this good team result in more wins this year.

2018 Miami (Ohio) Redhawks Predictions: Team Strengths
Veteran Offense : The offense being old is a strength of this team, but if the offense will be a strength is still up in the air.
Gus Ragland is in his third year under center and that has to mean something for the signal caller. he has been good in his career with the Redhawks, but him being great might be a stretch.
He also has some veteran receivers outside that should really help out this offense. The question is can Ragland hit his receivers.
He needs to be more accurate with the ball this year, and if he’s not the age won’t mean anything.
Stopping the Run: For the Redhawks on the defensive side of the field, it’s going to be the run stopping that is excellent.
The linebackers Corps is all back from last year, and will be one of the best in the MAC conference. Look for teams to really have trouble moving the ball on the ground.
2018 Miami (Ohio) Redhawks Predictions: Team Weaknesses
Weak Seondary: As good as the run defense is going to be, the area that this team is going to run into issues is the secondary.
The two best playmakers of the secondary are gone, and the guys coming in are going to be young and don’t have a ton of experience.
The secondary is going to have a ton of growing pains, especially early, and it’s going to cost this team some games I think.
Winning Culture?: This team lost too many close games last year, and I think that it will be a problem again this year.
This team isn’t used to winning games especially when they are close and that is going to be really troublesome.
Miami (Ohio) Redhawks Prediction: 6-6
I think this team will be a little better this year, but not great. I think they will win one more game and get bowl eligible.
I just don’t think the culture is great and they are going to lose a few close games and that is going to be the difference between an okay and a great season.
