Last year’s team was probably better but these Dawgs are not going to roll over.
2018 Georgia Bulldogs Predictions: Team Strengths
Set At QB?: Jacob Eason was a 5 star prospect, the next great quarterback at UGA until he got hurt. Then Jake Fromm led them to to the title game.
Fromm might not be the most dynamic signal caller but he is so cool under pressure…but he kind of got hurt this summer and even though the prognosis is good there has to be some doubt.
Enter Justin Fields, the latest hot shot prospect and probably a better player than Fromm, he just doesn’t have any experience…yet.

No matter how it shakes out the Bulldogs look very comfortable at quarterback this season and for years to come.
Ready to Explode: Last year the Dawgs leaned heavily on Nick Chubb and Sony Michel, no reason not to.
This year’s offense is going to feature D’Andre Swift and Mecole Hardiman, two of the most explosive players anywhere.
Look for Georgia to be less plodding this season and more exciting too. They have to change the way they play a little bit.
2018 Georgia Bulldogs Predictions: Team Weaknesses
Defensive Rebuild?: Last year Georgia gave up 16ppg, second in the SEC and sixth in the nation. That is going to be tough to repeat.
Only five starters return on defense and the biggest loss of all will be linebacker Roquan Smith, who was not only awesome but the emotional leader.
There is still lots of experience around but this year will really test just how good the recruiting has been. Will they be able to reload?

Another test will be how the Dawgs handle expectations this season. Can they actually topple Alabama in the SEC?
Last year’s team was probably better, especially with that duo at RB but this year’s group might be in a better spot.
There is no team on their schedule that they won’t be favoured against, but will they look the part.
Georgia Bulldogs Prediction: 12-0
I am not sure the Dawgs are the best team in the country but against their schedule they can be perfect.
The one game which I think might give them the most trouble is week two at South Carolina. I am more worried about that one then a trip to LSU in October.
Auburn, who beat them a year ago, is a home game this season and they handled the Tigers easily in the SEC title game.

A perfect regular season looks pretty good for returning to the playoffs but odds are they get Alabama in the SEC title game this season.
