Clap, clap, clap.
I’m not just applauding the Packers. I’m applauding the Super Bowl in general. Arguably for the fourth straight year, it delivered a naillbiter of a game. Giants/Patriots? Steelers/Cardinals? Saints/Colts? Now Packers/Steelers? Can you think of another major pro sport that delivers championship battles that close year in, year out?
By most accounts, a Colts/Saints Super Bowl matchup was as good as it gets. The early TV ratings suggest as much, since Super Bowl XLIV looks like it will end up the most-watched Super Bowl of all time.
What a Super Bowl it was this past weekend. As I cashed in my Top Premium Play on the Cards, taking me to 15-3 ATS in Super Bowl Sides in my now 18 year career as a capper, I was more caught up in the game than I usually am, since all my emotion is usually point spread based, and not “fan” based.
