The 2010 Schedule for the PGA Tour was released today and it’s time for online sportsbook betting fans to get out their markers and start planning for the 2010 PGA Season.
Betting on golf doesn’t get much simpler than this. Only 30 men are competing at the 2009 Tour Championship, and only one of those men is Tiger Woods.
The Tour Championship is the last stop on the FedExCup trail; the list of participants has been whittled down to the Top 30 players in the points standings, and the points have been reset going into Thursday’s opening round at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga.

Carl Pettersson collected his third PGA Tour win Sunday at the Wyndham Championship and that helped him jump 22 places in this week’s Official World Golf Rankings. There was little movement in the top 20.

Carl Pettersson caught fire on the back nine Sunday to win the Wyndham Championship by two shots over Scott McCarron.
Pettersson fired a closing round of two-under 68, and a final score of 21-under.
Pettersson also set new 36- and 54- hole scoring records along the way.
The big bonus for him though was winning the tournament vaulted him into the TOP 30 on the PGA tour Fed-EX cup points list.
It’s the last week of the PGA TOUR’s Regular Season, and plenty of players are fighting to make the Playoffs. A total of 156 players will compete in the Wyndham.
This weekend’s PGA tournament – The Wyndham Classic at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.
