Las Vegas Sportsbook Odds – Giants vs Pats
Not only is this Super Bowl a match up of a few years back when the Giants ruined the Patriots perfect season, but they also beat them in New England in week 9 this season.

The Raiders have high hopes this season and last season, in an interesting fact, they went undefeated in AFC West play, but only won 2 games outside of the division.
There are not many teams in the league that have as many question marks as the Denver Broncos and the biggest one is at the QB position.

With two weeks in the books, NFL teams have played an eighth of their schedule. How have the Super Bowl betting futures been affected early on? Let’s look at three key risers, three key fallers and three teams standing pat in their odds right now.
Supporters of the New York Jets have two prices on their mind: 10-1, and $15.1 million. The former price is where you’ll find the Jets on the Super Bowl futures market. The latter is the minimum that cornerback Darrelle Revis wants to be paid annually, and he appears willing to hold out until he gets it.

Hard to believe it’s almost August and the NFL preseason will be starting up soon. I think that means it’s time for an updated look at the contenders, agreed?
Here are the top 15 based on odds.
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
Super Bowl XLV odds: +925
On one hand, Peyton Manning is bound to start showing signs of age some time soon. On the other, he arguably has his deepest group of receiving targets he’s ever had. So maybe the sky is still the limit.
SAN DIEGO CHARGERS
Super Bowl XLV odds: +925
Even with Vincent Jackson suspended and set to hold out for up to 10 games, the Chargers still lead the way along with Indy. That’s the beauty of life in the AFC West. And Ryan Mathews should be an upgrade over LaDainian Tomlinson at this stage of his career.
DALLAS COWBOYS
Super Bowl XLV odds: +1015
As long as Dallas can play strong “D” and rush the passer for a full season and not half a season like it did in 2009, this year could be special. Tony Romo has a fantastic group of weapons around him that should only get better with Felix Jones possibly starting and Dez Bryant joining the receiving corps. The Cowboys could be the NFL’s top offensive team this year.
BALTIMORE RAVENS
Super Bowl XLV odds: +1015
The Ravens may be my pick to win it all – because of their offense, believe it or not. Joe Flacco keeps maturing, Ray Rice could be the league MVP this year and Anquan Boldin just makes B-More all that more dangerous. But is the defense too long in the tooth? That’s the big question.
GREEN BAY PACKERS
Super Bowl XLV odds: +1015
I think it’s between the Packers and Cowboys to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. Aaron Rodgers is the game’s next great superstar and years of good drafting has turned the Pack’s defense into an elite unit. The key this year is for the O-line to do a better job protecting Rodgers. Brian Bulaga will help – but will he help right away?
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Super Bowl XLV odds: +1215
This is a fool’s bet if you ask me. Tom Brady is aging and you never know when Randy Moss will mentally check out of New England.
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Super Bowl XLV odds: +1215
Strange to see New Orleans’ betting support dwindling when it really hasn’t lost much from its championship team. Is it the Madden Curse? More likely, it’s that the defense sagged in the second half of 2009.
MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Super Bowl XLV odds: +1215
I still think this is the most talent-rich team in football. No team has as many playmakers on both sides of the ball as Minnesota does. Adrian Peterson, Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice, Jared Allen, the Williams Wall…the list goes on. But the Brett Favre fiasco will bite the Vikings in the behind this season – even if he plays.
NEW YORK JETS
Super Bowl XLV odds: +1615
Am I missing something? If I was the oddsmaker, I’d rank the Jets no lower than fourth. They’re loaded with high-priced talent. And for Mark Sanchez distracters: love him or hate him, the Jets still made the AFC Championship game in his rookie season. Now he has a year of experience and more weapons around him. What’s not to like?
PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Super Bowl XLV odds: +2250
Is this another fool’s bet? Sure, the Steelers still probably have a top-three NFL defense and Rashard Mendenhall definitely looks ready to be a workhorse back all season. But won’t Ben Roethlisberger’s absence leave them in a hole before he returns? We’ll see.
ATLANTA FALCONS
Super Bowl XLV odds: +2550
Of the mid-range contenders, I may like Atlanta’s upside the best. Matt Ryan is a winner and a real student of the game. He should improve dramatically in his third season.
NEW YORK GIANTS
Super Bowl XLV odds: +2250
The Giants could definitely bounce back this year. Eli Manning is getting better at protecting the ball and his current receiving corps is easily his best ever. Hakeem Nicks could break out in 2010.
WASHINGTON REDSKINS
Super Bowl XLV odds: +2250
Do you really want to throw down on Washington when a defending division champ like Cincinnati gives you more value? Mike Shanahan is out for redemption but the ’Skins seem cursed to me. And they’re just so…damned….old.
TENNESSEE TITANS
Super Bowl XLV odds: +2550
The Titans are an intriguing sleeper to me. They run the ball like crazy and Vince Young suddenly looked like a winner in 2010. But how will he fare now that the pressure is on?
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Super Bowl XLV odds: +3050
This bet depends on how much you believe in Kevin Kolb. He topped 300 yards in both his starts last year but he also turned over the ball a lot. The Eagles should at the very least be fun to watch thanks to Andy Reid, who is statistically the most pass-happy playcaller ever to coach in the NFL.

It’s conference championship week in the NFL and only a quartet of teams remains, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to bet on Super Bowl futures. In fact, some sharps prefer to pick from a small field of teams, increasing their odds. Let’s check in with the Final Four to see who has the best shot to win Super Bowl XLIV according to the sportsbooks.

In the betting community, many sharps will argue that now’s the time to make your Super Bowl futures bet. The field is narrowed to 12 teams, giving you solid odds, but it’s still big enough that you can cash in on value.
Think about the nice payday the Giants would’ve given you two years ago.
What song will Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band open with during the Super Bowl halftime show?
That’s just one of the crazy proposition bets that you’ll find as the football season draws to a close. The market is fairly quiet right now – on the board at press time is the race for the 2008 Heisman Trophy, plus the usual championship futures odds on the BCS, the Super Bowl and the NFL’s two conferences. As we get closer to the big games, betting interest will soar, and so will the number of wagers available. About half the Super Bowl betting handle (which is estimated at $6-10 billion worldwide, or $100 million in Nevada) will come in the form of prop bets.
