On Monday Night Football, the remaining two NFC East teams will go head-to-head in a matchup of two teams with very differing goals.
This is a game with an intensely storied rivalry that’s only furthered by the last ten games, which the Eagles and Giants have evenly split with a 5-5 SU/ATS record. Philadelphia has strung together three big wins over second-tier teams, but New York managed to stifle the Dallas Cowboys last week and are now one game shy of tying for the division lead.
The New York Giants will try to build on their first win since their 5-0 start as they take on the 6 point home underdog Denver Broncos at 8:20 PM ET at Invesco Field in a Thanksgiving Night clash.

In what was a definite romp, the Giants’ star quarterback, Eli Manning, has been sidelined by swelling in his foot and has watched David Carr take the majority of the first team snaps. The line hasn’t moved for this game, so the question is whether the Giants can cover without Manning.

Something has to be said for the coaching staff in New York. The talent is certainly above average, but the coaching staff has been able to dissect teams with disgusting precision. While going 16-2 ATS in their last 18 games on the road, the Giants have kicked off the season by wearing down the Redskins, picking Tony Romo three times in a 33-31 win, and shutout the Bucs who were previously the fourth best offense in terms of moving the chains. That’s why I’m not scared of a big spread facing them on the road in Arrowhead.
The New York Giants (1-0 SU, 0-1 ATS, 1-0 O/U) and the Dallas Cowboys (1-0, SU, 1-0 ATS, 1-0 O/U) will hook up in an early-season NFC East matchup that will almost assuredly be a typical knock-down, drag-out fight to the finish between the longtime division rivals when they meet at Cowboys Stadium at 8 PM ET on Sunday night.
The Giants got their 2009 regular season off to a solid start by beating the Washington Redskins 23-17, but either failed to cover the spread or saw the game play out as a Push as either, 6.5 or 6-point home favorites, depending on which line NFL bettors received.
