The Oregon State Beavers are 6-0 for the first time in more than a century, and as a result, they’ve climbed the BCS rankings to the No. 7 spot heading into week nine of the college football season. The Beavers have exceeded expectations all year long, while the Washington Huskies have underperformed with a 3-4 record.

Florida State (6-1) got over their shocking upset at the hands of North Carolina State with a blowout win in their last game and now they face a Miami (4-3) team that may be without their starting QB.
The No. 1 seeded Alabama Crimson Tide are set to travel to Tennessee to defend their ranking in the first weekend where the BCS is officially a part of college football. Neyland Stadium isn’t exactly the home-field advantage it once was when the Volunteers were steamrolling opponents left and right, so unless they can shock the nation, Alabama’s title hopes should be well and alive after week eight.
