NFL: SAINTS, BEARS KICKOFF WEEK 15

The Chicago Bears and New Orleans Saints are still alive for the playoffs, but the loser of their Thursday night game can start making early vacation plans.

The Bears are three-point home favorites in a game where weather is surely going to be a factor. So far, 59% of the current betting public is taking the Monsters of the Midway.

Note that this is just one of the many Week 15 early odds you can find at Sportsbook.com.

The Green Bay Packers have seen their season go in the toilet after losing five of six, but they’re still 1 ½-point road favorites over a Jacksonville team that has lost six out of seven. A heavy 88% of the early bettors are backing the Pack.

The Indianapolis Colts beat the Cincinnati Bengals by 32 points last week and now they’re 16 ½-point favorites at home over the winless Detroit Lions. Early action shows that 87% of the public is backing the Colts despite that lofty number.

The Washington Redskins are another struggling team, losers of four of five, but their playoff hopes can be extended with a win at lowly Cincinnati. The Skins are 6 ½-point road favorites and 86% like their chances.

Tampa Bay got run over figuratively and literally in a loss at Carolina on MNF and now they’re three-point dogs at the Atlanta Falcons. Only 31% of the betting public thinks Tampa will bounce back and is taking the points.

The Miami Dolphins are in the middle of the AFC East playoff chase, but they need to take care of business at home against the San Francisco 49ers. Miami is 6 ½-point chalk and only 57% are backing them against this improving San Fran team.

The New York Jets are coming off two straight losses, but they’re still seven-point favorites over a freefalling Buffalo Bills team. An incredible 100% like the Jets to beat that number at home in the Meadowlands.

The Houston Texans and quarterback Matt Schaub had a great win in Green Bay last week and that’s a big reason they’re only three-point dogs at home to Tennessee. Members believe that spread is too low and 91% are backing the Titans.

The upstart Baltimore Ravens try to move into a tie for first place in the AFC North when they host Pittsburgh. The Ravens have been installed as two-point chalk but only 29% are willing to back them against this very good Steelers team.

The Denver Broncos have won four out of five games to take control of the AFC West, but they’re still getting 7 ½-points at a Carolina team coming off their big MNF win. A somewhat surprising 88% like Carolina to roll once again.

The San Diego Chargers are giving five-points at Kansas City as they try to stay alive in the AFC West despite their sub .500 record. The Bolts are getting 98% of the early action as the Chiefs have only won one home game this year.

The New England Patriots won last week in heroic fashion at Seattle, but they failed to cover the spread, The Pats are now at Oakland and giving seven-points and a very convincing 100% think an injury-riddled New England squad will get the cover this week.

The Sunday night game of the Dallas Cowboys hosting the New York Giants is the best of the weekend. Dallas is three-point favorites in a desperate situation, but only 51% think they can get the job done.

The Philadelphia Eagles have played great the last two weeks with wins over Arizona and the New York Giants, so it’s not surprising they are 14-point chalk at home over the Cleveland Browns. A lop-sided 92% like the Eagles in this Monday night telecast.
