Throw in the fact that when this event is in South America teams from the continent do well and you might as well go ahead and pencil then in the Final against Brazil. This game against Bosnia should be the toughest test they have in the Group Stage.
As Brazil proved in their opener sometimes it can take a little while to get your feet under you.
In warm up games coming into this event Argentina won by a combined score of 5-0 against Trinidad and Slovenia. In fact they have not given up a goal in international play since losing to Uruguay 3-2 last fall.
Among those handful of game they have played was a 2-0 victory over Bosnia.
The way teams bring players in and out for friendlies I wouldn’t put too much stock in that but it is certainly better than losing.

Bosnia qualified out of UEFA Group G where the stiffest competition was Greece.

They lost only one game in qualifying and this team has been granted a bit of sleeper status coming into their first ever World Cup. They do have some good players most notably Edin Dzeko who has been important to the success of Man City over the last few season.
Dzeko is big and strong and can be tough to handle. If he can find the back of the net than Bosnia should be able to give Argentina a game.
In the two friendly tuneups for Brazil Bosnia has beaten two qualifying teams in Mexico and the Ivory Coast. This is a team that has a shot to upset somebody but dumping a team like Argentina to start their tournament seems like a pretty tall order.
To do so they would have to be tactically sound as well as catch the Argentines in some kind of funk. A good showing would do a much as a win.
Argentina is my pick to win it all so I am not going to be fading them too much, if at all. Against Bosnia there is little value on the moneyline so I suggest looking at the total.
There is no doubt in my mind Argentina will score and I think Bosnia can make a contribution as well.
