Packers vs. Vikings Week 10 Spread

Point spread for the week 10 NFL clash between the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings plus the betting spreads, and betting trends for nfl football gambling…

NFL Week 10 Preview – Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings

The Green Bay Packers take on the Minnesota Vikings for the second time this season with both teams in the hunt for the NFC North title. Even though the Vikings looked absolutely terrible straight up and against the BetUS online wagering spread early this season, they have since gotten back to .500.

Sports betting fans have to appreciate how the switch to Gus Frerotte at quarterback has helped this team. There is no clear leader in the NFC North. With the Bears playing the Titans this Sunday, and the Vikings playing the Green Bay Packers, the Vikings have a shot to actually tie the Bears atop the NFC North standings.

The Green Bay Packers could do the same, of course. The Packers were oh so close to upsetting the Tennessee Titans last Sunday but that Titans’ running game slowly wore down the Packers’ defense. Green Bay is a good team. They already beat the Vikings once. Now, with Aaron Rodgers fully entrenched as their starting quarterback, he just signed an extension, they have a chance to beat the Vikings again. Green Bay could really help their chances in the NFC North by beating the Vikings.

Here are the BetUS Sportsbook betting odds for this game:

Green Bay Packers + 2 – 110 + 105 O 44 ½ – 110
Minnesota Vikings – 2 – 110 – 125 U 44 ½ – 110

Here are a few online wagering trends that might help us find a good online bet in this game:

The Green Bay Packers are 12-3-1 in their last 16 games on the road.
The Over is 5 and 0 in the Packers last 5 games against an NFC North opponent.
The Minnesota Vikings are 3 and 8 against the spread in their last 11 games overall.
The Over is 4 and 1 in the Vikings last 5 games overall.

Both teams are playing okay, not great, but okay right now. The Packers really let a victory against the Titans slip away from them last Sunday. The Vikings almost let the Houston Texans back into their game last Sunday.

Both teams have solid defenses, but I have the feeling, and the trends back me up on this, that the offenses will come to play this Sunday. I know that it will be difficult for the Packers to keep the Vikings from scoring at least 21 points in this game now that Gus Frerotte is throwing the football and not Tavaris Jackson.

The Packers should be good for at least 24. To me this looks like a solid online wager on the over.

NFL Week 10 Prediction:

That’s the online bet that I will be making on the Packers vs. Vikings game. I will make online bet on this game to go over 44 ½ points.
