Jets vs. Bills Week 9 Spread

Point spread for the week 9 NFL clash between the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills plus the betting spreads, and betting trends for nfl football gambling…

NFL Football Trends – New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills

The New York Jets travel to Buffalo to take on the AFC East leading Buffalo Bills. The Bills have been very good this season. Well, they were very good this season up until their loss to the Miami Dolphins this past Sunday. Sports betting fans should note that the Buffalo Bills are 5 and 2 straight-up but only 4 and 3 against the BetUS online wagering spread. The Bills have a very solid team on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. They have one of the best running backs in the league in Marshawn Lynch and a more than capable quarterback in Trent Edwards.

The New York Jets have to be considered a disappointment at this point in the NFL season. After acquiring the brilliant Brett Favre, the Jets were supposed to be the team to beat in the NFC East after Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady went down. But Brett and the Jets haven’t really fared all that well. Sure, they are 4 and 3 straight-up but against the BetUS spread they are only 3 and 4. Favre is still a great quarterback but he hasn’t been as impressive as some had hoped.

Here are the BetUS online betting odds for this game:

Kick-off: 1:00 pm

New York Jets + 5 ½ – 110 + 195 O 42 ½ – 110
Buffalo Bills – 5 ½ – 110 – 235 U 42 ½ – 110

Here are a few online wagering trends that might help us find a good online bet in this game.

The New York Jets are 2 and 6 against the spread in their last 8 games on turf.
The Over is 5 and 2 in the New York Jets last 7 games on turf.
The Buffalo Bills are 4 and 0 against the spread in their last 4 games following an against the spread loss.
The Over is 7 and 1 in the Buffalo Bills last 8 games on turf.

The Jets’ biggest hurdle has been their porous defense. They’ve given up way too many points to way too many teams this season. Buffalo’s defense is much better but the Jets have enough weapons to get the ball into the end zone.

Without a doubt, this is the type of game where online betting fans should be thinking over. That’s what I’m going to do. Trent Edwards, Lee Evans and Marshawn Lynch for the Buffalo Bills shouldn’t have much trouble getting the ball into the end zone.

Brett Favre, Laverneus Coles and Thomas Jones for the New York Jets shouldn’t find trouble getting the ball into the end zone either.

NFL Week 9 Prediction:

I’ll be placing an online bet on the BetUS over in this game.
