Golf Betting John Deere Classic Predictions/Pick

Golf Betting – Perry aims for two in a row at John Deere Classic
The 2009 John Deere Classic takes place on Thursday, July 9 and runs through Sunday, July 12. It’ll be played at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois. Bet on Golf Today.

Get warmed up for your British Open betting with the John Deere Classic, which tees off on Thursday at the TPC at Deere Run. Kenny Perry is the defending champion at this event, but he’ll have some challengers in a surprisingly strong field.

John Deere Odds – Thursday, July 9

Perry is the favorite to repeat at Deere Run at +900, and the 48-year-old veteran is coming off his second victory of the year when he scorched the field at the Travelers Championship with a -22 score.

Perry won in a playoff over Jay Williamson and Brad Adomonis in 2008, and he’s 14th in birdies, which is a good thing because this course allows you to fire away at the pins.

David Toms is next with golf betting odds of +1400, and he is playing as well as he has in years. Toms has two runner-up finishes in his last three starts, he ranks first on the PGA Tour in driving accuracy, and he is 10th in putting. Those types of numbers should attract attention from British Open betting players.

Steve Stricker also has John Deere odds of +1400, and he is another veteran having a solid year. Stricker has made the cut in 12 of 14 events, and of those 12, he’s finished in the top 20 nine times. He won at Colonial, and he’s coming off a decent 23rd-place finish at the US Open, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to make him one of your sports picks this weekend.

Zach Johnson and Lucas Glover have John Deere odds of +1800, and Glover would probably be the better pick here for betting management players. Since winning the US Open, Glover has finished 11th at the Travelers Championship, and fifth at the AT&T National, so he’s looking to ride the hot streak as much as possible.

If you’re looking for a darkhorse, Ryan Moore would be a solid pick for online sportsbook betting players. After missing three straight cuts, Moore finished 10th at the US Open, followed by a fourth-place result at the Travelers Championship and an 11th-place finish at the AT&T National. Momentum is a crazy thing in sports, and Moore has some, so you could do worse than picking his John Deere odds this weekend.

Hard to argue with Kenny Perry
