NFL Week 12 Gambling: Previews, Handicapping ATS Spread Insight

Expert NFL Cappers – Week 12 Projections

Week 11 was a good one for underdogs, and the under cashed in the vast majority of games, which is more often than not a good sign for the books. There are plenty of opportunities for bettors to make some of that cash back in Week 12, though.

Cappers Picks is your source for betting & ATS NFL handicapping insight.

Here’s a look at five favorites and five underdogs worthy of a closer gambling eye in Week 12.

NFL Gambling – Week 12 Favorites

Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders
Week 12 NFL Spread: Chiefs -7

The Chiefs have been sneaky good this season after they were all but written off following a pair of losses to start the season. The Raiders need to get a win at some point, and a Thursday night matchup at home is a great spot for them, but the Chiefs are the far more talented squad.

Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings
Week 12 NFL Spread: Packers -9.5

The Packers are rolling right along at the moment, and a Vikings squad that couldn’t even get past the Bears figures to have a very tough time against a more competent NFC North rival. Aaron Rodgers is locked in right now.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts
Week 12 NFL Spread: Colts -13.5

The Colts may have taken a hit last weekend, but it figures to be a different story on Sunday when they take on a Jaguars squad that they have owned in recent years. Getting the game at home is another reason to think they can build up this big margin.

St. Louis Rams at San Diego Chargers
Week 12 NFL Spread: Chargers -5.5

The Chargers certainly could have looked better a week ago against a lowly Raiders squad, but running back Ryan Mathews looked good in his return to the lineup, and they get this one at home. The Rams got the Broncos in the third consecutive road game for Denver, so a letdown figures to be in order here.

Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants
Week 12 NFL Spread: Cowboys -3

The Cowboys return from their bye to visit the rival Giants. New York continues to look lost on both sides of the ball, though they did make a little bit of noise against the San Francisco 49ers a week ago.

NFL Gambling – Week 12 Favorites

Cleveland Browns at Atlanta Falcons
Week 12 NFL Spread: Browns +3

The Browns were victims of a major letdown a week ago, losing a game they needed to win against the Houston Texans. They don’t deserve to be written off entirely as they visit a Falcons team that has not been good this season, even when they’ve played at home.

Cincinnati Bengals at Houston Texans
Week 12 NFL Spread: Bengals +2.5

The Bengals are coming off a big win over the Saints a week ago. The Texans are coming off a win of their own as they downed the Browns on their home turf last Sunday, but the Bengals certainly aren’t the Browns, even if Cleveland did beat Cincinnati in their last meeting.

New York Jets at Buffalo Bills
Week 12 NFL Spread: Jets +4.5

The Bills have struggled mightily against the Jets in Rex Ryan’s tenure in New York. The Bills are the better squad right now, but the Jets have some momentum coming off a win prior to their bye week, and Michael Vick and Percy Harvin have certainly been a breath of fresh air for the team’s offense.

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks
Week 12 NFL Spread: Cardinals +6.5

The Seahawks just haven’t look the same this season, and it starts with their receiving corps’ inability to gain separation against opposing secondaries.

[dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

The Cardinals certainly possess one of the better defenses in football. This one doesn’t figure to feature a lot of points.

Baltimore Ravens at New Orleans Saints
Week 12 NFL Spread: Ravens +4

The Saints have now lost back-to-back games at home in what has been a dreadful year for the NFC South. The Ravens get this one off their bye and figure to enjoy some success on offense against a Saints defense that has struggled mightily this season.
