The Seattle Seahawks lost a heartbreaker on the road last week in Indianapolis but return home this week to take their frustrations out on the surprising Tennessee Titans.

On paper, this game looks like a complete mismatch until we look at the fact that Tennessee played Kansas City very tough last week and may have deserved a better fate than the one they received.
Seattle is a terrific team however and on home turf they are almost untouchable.
The Tennessee Titans have been pretty good this year but statistically they certainly don’t jump off the page. The Titans will go into Sunday’s game with a backup QB at the helm – Ryan Fitzpatrick looked OK last week in throwing for two scores and 247 yards but he did throw two costly interceptions as well.

Fitzpatrick has some experience against Seattle – not a good one when Buffalo played Seattle last year in Toronto.
At least the Titans can lean on Chris Johnson – right? Wrong – he is averaging 3.1 yards per carry and 58.8 yards per game this year and now has the displeasure of facing a Seahawks front that has stopped everyone on home field this year.
Defensively, Tennessee has been good against the pass in their home games and a tad leaky on the road. Matt Schaub threw for 298 yards and three touchdowns in their last road game – Matt Schaub! Jamaal Charles just left Tennessee with 145 total yards and a touchdown last time out – and now they have to face Marshawn Lynch. [soliloquy id=”82219″]
The Seattle Seahawks will be happy to be at home. They were good on the road and could reasonably be staring at a perfect 5-0 record heading into Week 6. Russell Wilson was magical last week passing for 210 yards and 2 TDs while rushing for 102 yards, Marshawn Lynch is overdue for a monster game and the defense will definitely be motivated for a bounce back game.

The Titans are in for a long afternoon in Seattle – the Hawks have not lost at home since Christmas Ever 2011! Add in the fact that they will certainly be motivated after their first loss of the season and this looks like an easy win for Seattle. Tennessee is an average team – Average simply isn’t good enough against the Hawks. It looks like a 24-2 game to me!
