Dolphins vs. Bills Gambling & NFL Free Prediction (Week 15)

Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills Betting Preview

The battle to stay out of the basement in the AFC East will take place on Sunday, as the Buffalo Bills look to avoid their seventh straight loss while avenging a 35-8 pummeling in Week 11, when they host the Miami Dolphins in “The Queen City.”

Miami vs Buffalo
When: 1:00 PM ET, Sunday, December 18, 2011
Where: Ralph Wilson Stadium, Orchard Park, New York
TV:CBS
LINE: -1.5 (Miami) O/U OFF

Miami will roll into Ralph Wilson Stadium under the direction of new interim head coach Todd Bowles, who was handed the job on Monday after the firing of Tony Sparano just a day after an embarrassing 26-10 loss to the lowly Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite the loss, RB Reggie Bush posted his third 100-yard game of the season against Philadelphia, while Jason Taylor recorded two sacks in the contest, moving his career total to 138.5, good for sixth all-time.

As the season winds down, the Dolphins (4-9) will play out their schedule against AFC East foes and will travel to the frigid Northeast to take on the Patriots before closing out the season against the Jets.

However, a recent rash of injuries could make the remaining part of the season a much more daunting task after the Fins lost Pro Bowl tackle Jake Long to a back injury last week, right before taking their biggest knock of the season, when quarterback Matt Moore left the game with a possible concussion.

Moore has been a revelation for the Dolphins this year, and they have been playing their best football when he is under center. However if Moore is unable to start Sunday’s game, in his place will be former Bills QB J.P. Losman, who will face his old team for the first time. In relief last week, Losman was 6-of-10 for 60 yards and was sacked was sacked five times after Long left the game. Proving how much his absence from the o-line will hurt. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

Meanwhile, the Bills were officially eliminated from the playoffs for the 12th straight season on Sunday, after a 37-10 loss to the San Diego Chargers.

A once-promising season as all but totally faded away for Buffalo (5-8), who is now 1-7 after starting the season 4-1.

Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick set a career high against the Chargers, reaching 3,013 passing yards, but was held without a touchdown while tossing two picks.

Avoiding those types of costly turnovers will be key of the Bills want to split the season series with their division rival. Fitzpatrick has 16 INTs on the season, including two in the first meeting with Miami.

This will be the Bills first of two home games before closing out the season on the road against New England, so a win over the Fins is possibly the best chance Buffalo has at snapping their losing streak.

Matt’ s Prediction: Bills 24, Dolphins 10–I expect that ending a losing streak as well as getting a little redemption against Miami in front of the home crowd, are two more motivating factors than the Dolphins have at this point in the season.

Especially if they have to play the game without Moore.
