Broncos vs. Cowboys NFL Gambling Prediction & Week 5 Preview

Denver vs Dallas NFL Football Spread/Handicapping

The way they have been playing it looks like nobody is going to beat Denver this year. Their offense is so potent that it is carrying a defensive unit that should get better when LB Von Miller rejoins the team later this month, making them an even more formidable foe.

The Cowboys have not been great this season at just 2-2 but they are just the kind of potent offensive team that could have at least have a chance of beating the Broncos.

You have to be able to score with them because the chances of really shutting down the defense are not very good.

Denver

In a word the Denver offense has been awesome. With so many weapons at his disposal QB Peyton Manning has been near perfect completing an even 75% of his passes while throwing for 16 touchdowns with zero interceptions – it is actually kind of ridiculous.

Even the running game is showing a little more lately with three different backs contributing 120 yards on the ground to keep defenses relatively honest.

The Broncos’ own defense has given up a bunch of yards, primarily through the air, but those stats are skewed by the fact that Denver has been playing from ahead, usually a lot ahead, so opponents are chucking it around while trying to catch up. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

Also, their best cornerback, Hall of Famer Champ Bailey has yet to play a down this year.

He questionable again this week as there is no reason to force him out there. the way the team is playing.

Dallas

When clicking on all cylinders the Dallas Cowboys can also have a great offense. QB Tony Romo has a great set of targets in receivers Dez Bryant, Miles Austin and Terrance Williams, while tight end Jason Witten probably doesn’t get enough mention as being an elite at his position.

Running the ball RB DeMarco Murray is capable of greatness like the 175 yards he hung on St. Louis potentially giving the Cowboys some great balance. In short Dallas has the kind of offense that could potentially keep pace with Denver’s (if that is even possible).

Be that as it may the real reason to like Dallas this weekend is on the defensive side where an elite pass rusher like DE DeMarcus Ware might be just what you need to make Manning just a little uncomfortable. If you let him just stand there are toast and I think Dallas can get some heat on him.

If they do than all bets are off so to speak.

It should be a fun game to watch.

Spread Pick: Dallas +7.5
