The defending champion Baltimore Ravens meanwhile, looked lost in their opener against Baltimore, but have gone 3-1 since and now return to the cozy confines of M&T Bank Stadium.

The Packer offense has been plenty effective, with Aaron Rodgers doing his thing, the post-Greg Jennings receiving corps not missing a beat, and, despite the faces changing on a weekly basis, a surprisingly effective ground game.

The Packers went into their bye below .500 but didn’t take long to get out of that hole, luckily running into a Calvin Johnson-less Lions team.

An 83-yard James Jones touchdown was a standout moment in an otherwise lackluster game. That stood as Green Bay’s only touchdown in the game, as they asked Mason Crosby to boot five field goals.

Quarter back Aaron Rodgers completed 20 of 30 passes for 274 yards and a score in the game. Running back Eddie Lacy ran for 99 yards on 23 games, returning from a concussion, but wide receiver Randall Cobb had the team’s longest run on the day, a 67-yard scamper that set up a field goal. The defense must have been happy not to have to face Johnson, and did a solid job of containing Reggie Bush.

He turned his 13 carries into just 44 yards, and ended up with just 69 yards of offense on the day. They were also able to get to Matthew Stafford, sacking him five times. All five sacks came from linebackers, but the team lost Clay Matthews to a thumb injury in the process.

In their last game against Miami, Baltimore refocused on their running game and had a ton of success. The Ravens rushed for a season-high 133 yards. Ray Rice led the way with a season-high 74 yards. In total, he finished with 102 yards from scrimmage. Quarterback Joe Flacco added 269 yards through the air. He hit Torrey Smith six times for 121 yards.

The Baltimore defense got to Ryan Tannehill six times in the game, including a crucial sack by Elvis Dumervil in the final minute of the game.

The Baltimore offense has been a far more efficient unit when playing at home, so expect them to have plenty of success against a banged up Green Bay defense.

The Packers meanwhile, should have some success through the air against a Ravens defense that has been beatable through the air.

The over is 4-0 in the Packers’ last four road games.
