Early NFL Week 11 Odds & Lines
Week 10 in the National Football League was a disappointing one for the favorites, as they stumbled to another losing record against the spread. The NFL betting schedule will get underway on Thursday night again this week, and there are a few big spreads of which bettors can try and take advantage to pad their bankroll.
The early game on the Week 11 schedule between the Jets and the Patriots could also be the most important one because it will decide who gets first place in the AFC East division – for now at least. Both the Jets and the Pats enter Thursday’s game with a record of 6-3 and they are tied for top spot in the division. New York and New England already met up once this season back in Week 2, when the Patriots won 19-10 as a 1-point road favorite. In the rematch the Pats are a 3-point favorite on the early NFL odds, but the Jets are on a three-game winning streak so you shouldn’t count them out of this game just yet.
The biggest spread of the week on the early NFL odds is found in the Detroit at Carolina game. Huge odds in Detroit games will likely be the norm the rest of the season for the winless Lions. The Panthers are 5-0 at home and should easily keep that unbeaten streak going at Bank of America Stadium, but they could have a harder time covering the large 14.5-point spread given to them by the oddsmakers.
Also receiving double-digit odds this week is the game between Oakland and Miami. The Raiders’ horrible season continued last week, as they dropped their third straight to Carolina by a final score of 17-6; Oakland has lost their last three games while being outscored 70-16. The Dolphins are headed in the other direction and have won their last three games in a row. It looks like Miami should easily extend that streak to four games, and covering the 10.5-point spread against the struggling Raiders doesn’t look like it will be too hard either.
