Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears Preview

On the season the Vikings are 5-4 ATS and they have an O/U record of 3-6 and the Bears are 3-6 ATS and they have an Under record of 6-3.

This season the Bears are 0-3 at home and the Vikings are 2-3 on the road.

In their last games the Vikings beat the Washington Redskins 29-26 and the Bears lost to the Green Bay Packers 55-14.

Oh, how the heels have fallen off for the Bears, who have lost 3 straight and 5 of their last 6 games. Not only that, but they have been crushed in their last 2 games giving up over 50 points in each. They are winless at home so far on the season, but still are the 3.5-point betting favorites facing NFC North foe Minnesota.

The Vikings have won 2 in a row and their defense has played pretty well in their last few games. If they can get the W they can get back to the .500 mark and keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

To say that the Bears were embarrassed in their last game would be an understatement.

They gave up 6 passing TD in the first half alone and they turned the ball over 3 times. Jay Cutler was picked off twice in the game and the Bears are winless on the season when he has an INT and undefeated when he does not.

Cutler has a decent WR corps, but needs to find them and the Bears’ offensive line will face a Vikings’ pass rush that has the 3rd most sacks in the league and Minnesota ranks 4th in pass defense.

Matt Forte has been up and down this season and after rushing for 114 yards against the Patriots he struggled big time in the loss to the Packers. He will get his chances facing a Minnesota run D that ranks 16th in the league.

While the Vikings don’t have a great WR corps rookie QB Teddy Bridgewater has been playing well and in the 2-game winning streak he has passed for over 240 yards in each game and has not been picked off. To say that the Bears’ secondary was torched in their last game would be an understatement.

Their pass defense only ranks 28th in the league and their pass rush only ranks 18th in sacks.

Even without Adrian Peterson the Vikes have found a way to run the ball ranking 10th in the league in rushing yards per game. They have to run the ball well, as it will take a ton of pressure off Bridgewater.

NFL Week 11 Betting Trends

* Minnesota is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a S.U. win.
* Minnesota has an Under record of 4-1 in their last 5 road games.
* Chicago is 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 home games.
* Chicago is 2-8 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.
* The Bears are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games against the Vikings.

4* Cappers NFL Free Pick

For some reason I think Cutler will have a good game and light up the Vikes and the Bears will win and cover in the Windy City.
