Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers Preview

On the season the Cowboys are 10-7 ATS and they have an O/U record of 9-7-1 and the Packers are 9-6-1 ATS and they have an O/U record of 11-5.

This season the Packers are 8-0 at home and the Cowboys are 8-0 on the road.

In their last games the Cowboys beat the Detroit Lions in the Wild Card round 24-20 and the Packers beat the Lions in the regular season finale 30-20.

The Cowboys are a perfect 8-0 on the road this season and are coming off a solid comeback win over the Lions, but can they beat Aaron Rodgers and the Packers Lambeau Field? Green Bay is a 6-point favorite and they are undefeated at home on the season.

Romo had a solid game in the win over Detroit passing for 293 yards with 2 TD and he was not picked off.

Dez Bryant and the always reliable Jason Witten are his main targets and they will be facing a Green Bay pass defense that ranks 10th in the league. While Dallas won the game last week their solid offensive line was anything but that giving up 6 sacks.

The weakness of the Green Bay defense is their 23rd ranked run defense and they have a tall task in this game facing the league rushing leader in Demarco Murray. Murray did not have a big game facing the Lions, but he had 75 rushing yards an that was facing Detroit and their #1 run defense.

Aaron Rodgers had a great season under center for the Packers and his WR duo of Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb, who each had over 1,280 receiving yards on the season, may be the best pair in the NFL. The Cowboys pass D did have a pick last week facing the Lions, but they still gave up 307 yards in the air. Dallas only ranks 8th in the league defending the pass and they have to keep Rodgers, Cobb, and Nelson from making the big play down the field.

The Cowboys rank a legit 8th in run defense and they held the Lions to only 90 rushing yards. However, they now face Green Bay RB Eddie Lacy, who played much better in the 2nd half of the season and rushed for 100 yards in the season finale facing a tough Lions’ run defense.

4* Cappers NFL Free Pick

The home team has covered the spread in 9 of the last 11 games between these 2 teams. Many are jumping on the Romo bandwagon, but Rodgers is still THE best QB in the NFC and at home and the Packers will win and cover.
