Cleveland Browns vs. Buffalo Bills Previe

On the season the Browns are 6-3-2 ATS and they have an O/U record of 5-6 and the Bills are 5-6 ATS and they have an Under record of 2-9.

This season the Bills are 3-3 at home and the Browns are 3-2 on the road.

In their last games the Bills beat the Atlanta Falcons 26-24 and the Bills beat the New York Jets 38-3.

Will this game even take place in Buffalo? They had to head to Detroit to face the New York Jets, as their home field was unplayable because of too much snow. Even if they do play in this game it will be COLD, but the Browns are used to that.

Hard to believe that this late in the season both the Browns and the Bills are still in the playoff hunt. The Browns have won 4 of their last 5 games and are tied with the Ravens just behind the Bengals, in the tight AFC North. With the Patriots at 9-2 in the AFC East the Bills will likely have to rely on the Wild Card to make the post-season.

The Bills snapped their 2-game losing streak blowing out the Jets where they were dominant on both sides of the ball. Kyle Orton had a solid game under center and Robert Woods had a big receiving game. He and rookie Sammy Watkins will be facing a Cleveland pass defense that ranks 9th in the league.

Where the Browns have struggled this season is their run defense, which ranks 29th in the league. Anthony Dixon and Fred Jackson had pretty good games in the easy win over the Jets and the only team that Cleveland has faced this season that has a great rushing offense they lost badly to the Houston Texans.

Brian Hoyer did throw for over 320 yards in the Atlanta win and did orchestrate the game-winning drive, but he was picked off 3 times. He has a solid WR corps, but in his last 4 games he has more INT (6) than TD (3).

The Browns rushed for 162 yards in the win over the Falcons and both Isaiah Crowell and Terrance West had good games. The Bills rank in the top 9 in the league against the pass and the run and they also lead the league in sacks by a wide margin.

It will be key that the Cleveland offensive line plays well facing the great Bills’ pass rush.

4* Cappers NFL Free Pick

The favorite has covered the spread in 5 of the last 7 games between these 2 AFC teams. I look for that trend to continue, as the Bills will win and cover.
