Henne has reignited a weak Jags’ offense, as they have averaged 30.5 ppg in their last 2 games. WR’s Cecil Shorts III and Justin Blackmon have been solid with Henne under center with 9 catches and 167 receiving yards in the win over Tennessee. These guys will be facing a Bills’ pass defense that ranks 18th in the league.

The Bills have been terrible this season defending the run ranking 31st in the league in that department. However, they will be facing a Jags’ rushing offense that ranks 31st in the league and is without the injured RB duo of Maurice Jones-Drew and Jalen Parmele. RB Rashad Jennings is only averaging 2.8 yards per carry on the season and he may improve on that stat facing Buffalo.

Ryan Fitzpatrick did not have a bad game facing the Colts with 180 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT with main WR Steve Johnson having over 100 receiving yards. Johnson is the only real legit target Fitzpatrick has and he must find him in this game. The Jags only rank 28th in pass defense and their pass rush ranks 2nd to last in the league, which is why the team claimed Jason Babin, who had 18 sacks last season and 5.5 this season. The Bills will rely on the run in this game with C.J. Spiller, who rushed for over 100 yards last week and has 6 straight games with 100 yards from scrimmage. He is the key to the Bills winning and if the Jags and their 29th ranked run defense can keep him in check they have a great chance to win their 2nd straight game.

In some betting trends for this AFC match up the Jags are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 road games, 4-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record, and they have an Under record of 4-1 in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.

The Bills are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a losing road record and they have an Over record of 5-1 in their last 6 home games.

Jason’s Pick: Going with the Jags in this game and they may not win, but Henne will play well and it will be close and they will, at least, cover the spread.
