The Lions have the league’s top-ranked passing offense with Matthew Stafford leading the way and the league’s best WR in Calvin Johnson. Stafford has many targets at his disposal and it is key he has time to find them facing a Packers’ pass rush that has the 2nd most sacks in the NFL.
Mikel Leshoure had been running the ball well with the Lions resurgence, but he struggled last week. He will need to play well in this game not only to help Stafford out, but also to keep Rodgers off the field. The Packers have been decent against the run this season ranking 11th in run D.
