NFL Super Bowl Team Odds

It’s not too late for sports betting fans to get a future book online football bet down on the team they believe will win the Super Bowl.

Yes, we are down to four teams in the NFL but all four teams have positives and negatives against them. It’s time to take a closer look at the remaining four teams based on their BetUS online sportsbook betting odds to win the Super Bowl.

Let’s get to it!

NFL Betting Super Bowl BetUS Future Book Odds

1. Pittsburgh Steelers – – online betting odds + 140 – – Yes, the Steelers looked very good in the second half of their game against the San Diego Chargers in the divisional playoffs, but during the first half the Steelers were lucky to get to the locker room with a lead. The Chargers were moving the ball and Pittsburgh really wasn’t. Now, the Steel Men have to face one of their toughest rivals, the Baltimore Ravens. Not only do they have to beat the Ravens they have to beat them for the third time in a season. That will not be easy. As good as Pittsburgh looked against San Diego, online NFL betting fans have to remember that the Chargers were without both LaDanian Tomlinson, who would have taken some pressure off of Darren Sproles thereby allowing Sproles to be a bigger part of the passing attack, and Shawne Merriman who would have provided pressure on Big Ben. We also can’t forget that the Steelers lost a big game to the Tennessee Titans a few weeks ago. So, yes, they are the favorites but the online betting odds are too low for me and I picked them to win the Super Bowl at the beginning of the season!

2. Philadelphia Eagles – – online betting odds + 200 – – This is actually a worse online bet than the + 140 on the Steelers. First, the Eagles have to beat the Cardinals on the road this weekend. Then, they have to beat either the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have the number one ranked defense in the NFL, or the Baltimore Ravens who throttled them during the regular season. Does anyone really believe that the Eagles can beat either one of those teams? Yes, the Eagles defense has been playing much better lately, but it will have to be extra special to keep the Steelers from scoring. It will have to be very good to keep the Ravens from running past them. On offense, as good as Donovan McNabb has been the second half of the season, I will fear for his health if he has to face the Baltimore Ravens with Ed Reed and Ray Lewis. He won’t have any more luck against James Harrison or Troy Polamulu for the Steelers. This is a bad online bet to make.

3. Baltimore Ravens – – online betting odds + 400 – – This is the best online bet to make. The Baltimore Ravens have the type of defense that is getting better each week, not worse, and nobody can tell me that should they beat Pittsburgh they won’t be able to beat either the Arizona Cardinals or the Philadelphia Eagles. Baltimore’s offense is getting better each week because Mark Clayton and rookie quarterback Joe Flacco have developed a rhythm. The Ravens have one of the toughest running backs in the league in Le’Ron McClain and nobody is hungrier than Ed Reed and Ray Lewis right now. This is a serious football team that could beat the Steelers and then march into the Super Bowl to face a pansy, defensively speaking. The online betting odds are absolutely fantastic, the Ravens are on a roll, why not make this the bet?

4. Arizona Cardinals – – online betting odds + 550 – – The truth is that I believe the Cardinals do beat the Philadelphia Eagles and make it to the Super Bowl, but I don’t see them doing much once they get there. The problem is that both Pittsburgh and Baltimore will be able to stop the Cardinals’ running game without bringing up a safety. That means that Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin are going to face double-teams all day. The Ravens don’t have to blitz to put pressure on the quarterback. That’s a huge advantage for them defensively. On offense, as good as the Cardinals defense has been playing, they’re going to find it tough to take don Le’Ron McClain or Willie Parker and I don’t believe they will be able to single cover either Hines Ward or Michael Clayton in the Super Bowl. If NFL betting fans want to bet an NFC team, then the taking the + 550 on the Cardinals makes more sense than settling for the + 200 on the Eagles, but I just don’t see the Cardinals beating either AFC team in the Super Bowl.
