San Francisco notched its third straight win on Sunday with a 32-20 victory over visiting Arizona.

It was just another day at the office for running back Frank Gore who reeled up 101 rushing yards, while quarterback Colin Kaepernick completed 16-of-29 pass attempts for 252 yards and two TDs for the 49ers in the win.

Defensively, the Niners did not fare so as well, and allowed over 400 yards. Far from a great performance — something they will need to get a handle on if they want to keep their streak alive this Sunday in Tennessee.

Meanwhile, the Titans were outgained and lost the time of possession battle, coming up on the losing end of a 20-13 score at the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

The Tennessee defense could not contain Marshawn Lynch who ran right through them for two scores, as Seattle outgained the Titans, 404 to 223.

Running back Chris Johnson led the Titans anemic offensive charge, rushing for just 33 yards, while Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 171 yards to receivers Kendall Wright and Delanie Walker who had 69 and 29 yards respectively.

Despite the loss, however, Tennessee still has a chance of pulling even with the Colts for control of the division, but it will need to shift its offense, which has scored just 30 points in two straight defeats, into a higher gear.

The Titans will lean heavily on Johnson, which if he can establish a viable rushing attack, will allow the airways to open for Fitzpatrick, who also tossed a pair of interceptions against the Seahawks.

The Titans and Niners’ are both looking for a significant win in this one

It won’t be an easy against a Titans defenses that ranks a tough 8th in points allowed per game, but I look for San Francisco’s offense to win enough battles to win the war.

The Niners’ one-two punch of Kaepernick and Gore will give them just enough of an edge to squeak out a win here.
