Minnesota

The Vikings were one of the surprise teams from last week. They turned to Teddy Bridgewater and he was more than ready against Atlanta.

When Adrian Peterson was lost it looked like the season would go right along with it but if you have a quarterback that doesn’t make mistakes and a running game that cranks out 200+ yards like they did against the Falcons you are going to find yourself in a lot of ball games.

Next step for Bridgewater is doing it all again.

Fortunately for Bridgewater this trip up to Green Bay won’t be in the snow but the focus will still be the same:

Don’t make mistakes. Green Bay is a better team than Atlanta but they have not been playing well this season so if Minnesota is sharp they should be able to make this a contest.

If Bridgewater, or anyone else on the team, makes a lot of mistakes, they will be toast.

Green Bay

The Packers have been down and up this season, losing and then winning over the course of the first quarter of the season.

Last week at Chicago was almost an early must win because it was in the division and a loss would have really put them behind the eight ball.

This week will be the third in a row against division mates but the first at home. Based on last week’s performance the Vikings may be more of a challenge than we thought a couple of weeks ago.

If Green Bay is going to take the NFC North again they need to get more from RB Eddie Lacy. He was brilliant once given a chance last season but through 4 games he is averaging only three yards per carry.

I know there are a lot of things that go into a successful ground game but they have to get more production on the ground, even with one of the best quarterbacks in the league leading the way.

NFL Football Week #5 Prediction:  4* Play on Green Bay -10

I absolutely hate giving up so many points but things might have been a little too good to be true for Bridgewater last week.

NFL Score prediction:  Green Bay 31 – Minnesota 13

Outdoors and with a little craftier defense I am expecting a few more mistakes.
