Jets
The end is finally in sight to what has been a miserable season for the Jets. Rex Ryan will likely take to the sidelines for the last time as the team’s head coach and you’d think he wants to go out on a winning note.

New York lost the first clash between these two by a count of 16-13. The Jets ran the ball 49 times in that game for 277 yards but were miserable through the air with just 65 yards. This team can run the ball well and can stop the run too but they have just been crippled by their turnover ratio and a lack of competency at the QB position between Geno Smith and Michael Vick.
The Jets could send off Ryan with a win or who knows maybe somehow save his job (unlikely) or they could put themselves in the top five in next year’s NFL draft with a loss.
Dolphins
How bad do you think the Dolphins want that game back that they blew against the Packers? At 8-7 the Dolphins can’t get into the post season due to tie breakers even with a win.

What’s there to get excited about in this one then? Rookie receiver Jarvis Landry is worth watching as the first year wide out has hauled in a team leading 79 receptions which is also a Dolphins rookie record.
Landry should factor in big in this game as the Jets are a solid run stopping team but are very shaky in the secondary so expect QB Ryan Tannehill to go to the air and Landry a bunch.
Tannehill was efficient in the last game the Dolphins matched up against this secondary and completed 25 of 35 passes for 235 yards but he threw one pick and no touchdowns.

Week 17 Jets vs. Dolphins 4* Free Pick
It’s kind of a meaningless game so it’s tough to tell what team will actually show up.
Take the Jets to keep this one within six points.
The Jets have played their division fairly tough (excluding that disaster against Buffalo) for the most part with three losses to the Dolphins and Patriots coming by a combined six points so I like them to keep this one close.
