The Cowboys enter this matchup coming off of arguably their most impressive win of the season – a 42-7 thrashing of the Indianapolis Colts. Running back DeMarco Murray did suit up for that one with a wrap on his injured left hand after undergoing surgery on a broken bone in that hand earlier in the week and ran for 58 yards and a score on 22 carries.

Quarterback Tony Romo was incredibly efficient through the air, completing 18 of his 20 pass attempts for 218 yards and four scores. Tight end Jason Witten was Romo’s favorite target on the day, bringing in seven balls for 90 yards and a score.

Washington came up with a big win of its own in a rare Saturday contest, downing the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 27-24. Quarterback Robert Griffin III completed 16 of 23 pass attempts for 220 yards with an interception, adding 11 yards on the ground.

Free Washington vs. Dallas Pick:

The Cowboys are flying high off a dominant win which clinched the NFC East for them, but after pushing Murray and his injured hand, and leaving Romo and his injured back out there, this is a week of rest the team desperately needs, so it’s difficult to imagine seeing much of the Cowboys’ offensive starters in this one.

Meanwhile, while the Cowboys look past this matchup, the Redskins are treating it like their Super Bowl, looking to sweep Dallas for the first time in a long time. After picking up an upset win over the Cowboys in Dallas earlier in the year, another upset victory isn’t out of the question.

Additionally, points haven’t exactly been easy to come by when NFC East teams meet up with one another, and this game should be no different. The Cowboys figure to sit their offensive stars early, and the Redskins’ offense has been dysfunctional all season.

NFL Betting Trends:

The underdog is 25-8 ATS in the last 33 meetings between these teams, and the Cowboys are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games following a win of more than 14 points.

The Cowboys are 3-13 ATS in the last 16 meetings between these teams, and they are 0-4 ATS in their last four trips to Washington.

The under is 4-1 in the Redskins’ last five home games, and it si 7-3 in the Redskins’ last 10 games against NFC East opponents.

The play: Redskins +6, Under 49

The under is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these teams, and it is 6-1-1 in the last eight meetings in Washington.
