NFL Week 13 Free NFL Parlay Picks

Thanksgiving traditionally marks the start of the stretch run to the NFL playoffs. Wins and losses from here on in will have a direct impact on the actual 12-team field that makes it into the post season and ending up on the right side of these games will have a direct impact on your overall betting bankroll.

If you are looking for a holiday bonus to get you started in the right direction, check out my two picks for this Sunday’s games that come together perfectly to form this week’s NFL two-team parlay based on betting odds by 5Dimes.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Atlanta Falcons

Pointspread: Cardinals -2.5
Total Line: 44.5

Arizona’s season is at a crossroads despite having the best record in the NFC at 9-2.

Question marks at quarterback persist after last week’s 19-3 loss to Seattle as a seven-point road underdog in which Drew Stanton threw for only 149 yards while completing just 14-of-26 passes.

This team has gotten it done on defense all season long, so this unit is going to have to rise to the occasion on the road to help the Cardinals maintain their two-game edge in the NFC West title race no matter which team wins Thursday night’s showdown between Seattle and San Francisco. Both of those teams come into that game with a 7-4 mark.

The Falcons remain one of the have-nots in the NFL this season at 4-7, but in the dismal NFC South, that is good enough for a share of the lead. Atlanta is averaging 23.8 points a game, which is ranked 12th in the NFL, but its defense is one of the worst in the league.

This unit is ranked dead-last against the pass and 24th in the league against the run, while allowing an average of 25.5 points to its opponents.

Look for the Falcons to have a tough time scoring on the Arizona, which should open the door just wide enough for the Cardinals to get that 10th win of the season while covering ATS.

Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Pointspread: PICK
Total Line: 49.5
Matchup | Preview

Sunday Night Football features a crucial showdown in the AFC West between the 8-3 Denver Broncos and the 7-4 Kansas City Chiefs.

During the month of October the Broncos appeared to be unstoppable with Peyton Manning playing some of the best football in his storied career. However; once the calendar turned the page to November, it was like someone flipped the power-down switch with this team.

Denver is 2-2 in its last four games and while the offense powered back up to put-up 39 points at home last Sunday against Miami, it was held to just seven points the week before in a road loss to St. Louis.

The Chiefs climbed into the thick of the division title race with a solid five-game winning streak of their own, but that run came to an abrupt end last Thursday in a 24-20 loss to winless Oakland as eight-point road favorites.

Turning to Sunday night, not only does current form point towards a lower scoring game this time around in relation to a rather high total line (49.5) so do recent betting trends in this matchup. The total has stayed UNDER in six of Denver’s last nine road games against the AFC West and it eight of Kansas City’s last 12 home games against a division foe.

The total has also stayed UNDER in six of the last eight meetings and it is staying UNDER again on Sunday night.
