As of now, it looks like a Patriots/Packers Super Bowl is on the horizon – a dream matchup for any football fan. Bus as we have come to expect in the NFL anything can and likely will happen down the stretch!

So what does all the mayhem that was Week 12 amount to? Let’s break it down in the Week 13 edition of the NFL Power Rankings.

1. Patriots (9-2) Last Week: 1

The Pats have proven that they can and will beat you in any of a number of ways – in Week 11 it was the running game that dominated. In Week 12 the passing game led them to victory and LeGarrette Blount gives them a scary element out of the backfield. Seven straight wins has New England tied with the best record in the NFL and looking like easily the best team in the game.

The Packers are on the slate for Week 13 – it’s gonna be fun!

2. Packers (8-3) Last Week: 3

The Packers had a fight on their hands against Minnesota but pulled out a close win. Eddie Lacy and the offensive line were the stars this week – Aaron Rodgers didn’t have to do much. With the best QB in the game right now and a running back that is catching fire, the Pack look like the best of the NFC.

3. Broncos (8-3) Last Week: 4

The Broncos also had a fight on their hands Sunday barely pulling one out against Miami. The offense kept on clicking – the defense will have to tighten up if they hope to be playing in February however. Simply put the Broncos just find a way to win.

4. Cardinals (9-2) Last Week: 2

The Cardinals were due for a letdown and a 19-3 loss at Seattle was hopefully the dud they needed to get out of the way. The defense was stellar again but the offense, minus Larry Fitzgerald left something to be desired. This team will be tested down the stretch – a fall out of the top 5 wouldn’t be a shock.

5. Cowboys (8-3) Last Week: 7

The Cowboys nearly got Beckhammed on Sunday night but got the win in the end. The Dallas offense doesn’t seem to be slowing down in the least – the defense may finally be starting to show some cracks though. Dallas has Philadelphia on the schedule this week – should be interesting.

6. Colts (7-4) Last Week: 8

The Colts won ugly in Week 12 over the Jags. The loss of Ahmad Bradshaw seemed to be a bigger deal that most thought – they simply couldn’t run the ball against a brutal Jags defense. But as long as you have Andrew Luck and TY Hilton you are in good hands.

7. Seahawks (7-4) Last Week: 11

The Seahawks made quite a statement on Sunday cooling off the scorching Cardinals and allowing just three points along the way. Everything is there for the Hawks – a stifling defense, a great quarterback and one of the best running games in the biz. Oh ya – they are getting healthier week by week as well.

8. Eagles (8-3) Last Week: 9

The Eagles put up 44 points on Sunday – Mark Sanchez has been made to look legit and LeSean McCoy finally asserted himself as one of the best in the game. They don’t rise this week because of their opposition in Week 12 – beating the Titans is no big task. The Eagles have a big game on Thanksgiving – we will know a lot more about this team after Thursday.

9. Ravens (7-4) Last Week: 12

The Ravens took care of the Saints on Monday night behind an incredible rushing performance by Justin Forsett. The Ravens look like the best team in the AFC North – they are good in every aspect of the game and a dangerous team heading down the stretch.

10. Lions (7-4) Last Week: 6

The Lions have dropped two straight games and have failed to score an offensive touchdown in those games – amazing. They have officially fallen behind the Packers in their division but with Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson and an insane defense, they stay in the top 10 – barely!

11. Bengals (7-3-1) Last Week: 10

Tough to figure this team out isn’t it – Andy Dalton in particular. But the fact is that this team has won two straight games on the road to take control of their division. The Bengals offense seems to be over its funk and the defense is slowly rounding into form. Their Week 13 game against Tampa shouldn’t bump Cinci. out of the top 10 – expect them to challenge right through December.

12. Chiefs (7-4) Last Week: 5

The Chiefs seven game win streak came to a crashing halt in Oakland of all places. Their next two games? The Broncos and the Cardinals!

[dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Simply put, the one-dimensional nature of this offense was seriously exposed last Thursday – something to be concerned about down the stretch.

13. 49ers (7-4) Last Week: 13
14. Chargers (7-4) Last Week: 16
15. Steelers (7-4) Last Week: 15
16. Browns (7-4) Last Week: 19
17. Dolphins (6-5) Last Week: 14
18. Bills (6-5) Last Week: 22
19. Texans (5-6) Last Week: 17
20. Rams (4-7) Last Week: 18
21. Bears (5-6) Last Week: 23
22. Saints (4-7) Last Week: 21
23. Falcons (4-7) Last Week: 20
24. Giants (3-8) Last Week: 24
25. Panthers (3-7-1) Last Week: 25
26. Vikings (4-7) Last Week: 26
27. Redskins (3-8) Last Week: 28
28. Buccaneers (2-9) Last Week: 29
29. Jets (2-9) Last Week: 27
30. Raiders (1-10) Last Week: 32
31. Titans (2-8) Last Week: 30
32. Jaguars (1-10) Last Week: 31
