2015 Super Bowl Individual Player Prop Bet Picks & Lines

Need some Prop Picks?

The 2015 Super Bowl in Arizona is on Sunday between the Seahawks and Patriots. My job this week is to pick out the best five individual player prop bets on the market and explain why you should bet them. Here we go.

Super Bowl XLIX Player Prop Bets

Tom Brady Pass Completions Over 23.5 (-125)

Seattle has the best pass defense in the NFL, but hear me out. Tom Brady completed 33 passes against the Ravens in the divisional round. This is a game where they’ll need to pass more often than run.

[dfads params=’groups=63753&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

The Seahawks allowed Newton to complete 23 passes and Rodgers to complete 19 passes. What’s even better about this bet is that Belichick and the Pats throw a lot of short passes and screens.

Stephen Gostkowski Over 1.5 FG’s (-145)

Gostkowski has only had to kick one FG in the playoffs, but he made it with ease. In this match-up I can see the Patriots needing to attempt multiple FG’s because Seattle isn’t going to give up to 5+ TD’s.

After watching the Patriots offense in the playoffs I’m confident they’ll move the football, but once in the red zone it’ll be tough to punch it in.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Gostkowski had to nail 4+ FG’s in this one.

Jermaine Kearse Scores A TD (+230)

Admittedly this is a bit of a long shot, but Kearse has scored a TD in both of the Seahawks playoff games so far. He scored the OT winner against the Packers after having a rough outing with no other catches.

Kearse is a big play threat and the Patriots are beatable down the field. Flacco threw for 4 TD’s back in the divisional round. Wilson will have to air it out some to keep up with Brady and Kearse has been his man.

Marshawn Lynch Over 92.5 Rushing Yards (-125)

Lynch struggled against the Panthers (59 Rushing Yards) in the divisional round, but he bounced back with a strong performance against the Packers (157 Rushing Yards). Here’s why I’m betting the over.

[dfads params=’groups=63752&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

Wilson had 4 INT’s against GB and Carroll knows that can’t happen again. I expect Lynch to be used a lot in the 1H and may be in the 2H as well depending on the score. Lynch will run for 100+ yards on the ground.

Danny Amendola Under 2 Receptions (+115)

People are still talking about Amendola’s 5 receptions for 81 yards and 2 TD’s against the Ravens, but he only backed that up with 1 catch against the Colts. He was only targeted 3 times against Indy.

This bet could go either way, but I like getting plus money on this wager. Seattle’s defense is great against the pass and Amendola will likely be a complete afterthought on offense with everything on the line.
