Eagles Odds to win the 2015 Super Bowl XLIX: 300/1
Eagles Odds to win the 2015 NFC Conference: 15/1
Eagles Season Win Total: 10 wins

Here’s a look at the Philadelphia Eagles’ schedule for the upcoming season.

Week 1: Sun, Sept. 7 vs. Jaguars – The Eagles open the season as the biggest betting favorites of the opening week at 11 points. They get the game at home, but the Jaguars are an improved squad, and the Eagles certainly took time to get going last season.

Week 2: Mon, Sept. 15 at Colts – Going to Indianapolis for a Monday night date with the Colts in their opener isn’t an easy task. Chip Kelly’s Oregon teams were 2-1 against Andrew Luck’s Stanford teams during their time in college football.

Week 3: Sun, Sept. 21 vs. Redskins – Testing Robert Griffin III’s mobility has to be on the top of each NFC East team’s to-do list this upcoming season. The Eagles will surely design some special blitzes just for the occasion, looking to test out that injured knee. This game also marks the return home for DeSean Jackson who left under some pretty ugly circumstances.

Week 4: Sun, Sept. 28 at 49ers – A trip to San Francisco certainly won’t be a walk in the park. This will be another game with a Pac-12 connection, as Chip Kelly and Jim Harbaugh will renew their rivalry from their days at Oregon and Stanford, respectively.

Week 5: Sun, Oct. 5 vs. Rams – With the Giants on deck and a bye after that, this is going to be a game the Eagles will need to be sure to keep their wits about them in.

Week 6: Sun, Oct. 12 vs. Giants – The Giants will come to Philadelphia wanting to make a statement after the Eagles claimed the division a year ago. The Eagles should be able to put up a pretty good fight with their bye week in front of them.

Week 7: BYE

Week 8: Sun, Oct. 26 at Cardinals – The first of two road games for the Eagles coming out of their bye week. The Cardinals are an underrated squad, and the Eagles would be wise to give this game the attention it deserves.

Week 9: Sun, Nov. 2 at Texans – The Texans are a team that should be able to get to the quarterback with some ease this season with the addition of Jadeveon Clowney to a pass rush that already included J.J. Watt, so chalk this up as a game Eagles quarterback Nick Foles will need to be on his game for.

Week 10: Mon, Nov. 10 vs. Panthers – These teams didn’t meet a year ago, but the Panthers took a big step forward, winning the NFC South. When the teams last met, in 2012, the Panthers came away with a 30-22 victory.

Week 11: Sun, Nov. 16 at Packers – The Eagles and Packers have a long track record of playing in some pretty exciting games. The Eagles had the fortune of drawing the Packers when Aaron Rodgers was on the shelf a year ago, and took advantage with a 27-13 victory.

Week 12: Sun, Nov. 23 vs. Titans – It would almost be excusable for the Eagles to look past this contests, coming off a game at Lambeau Field and facing a daunting final five weeks to the regular season.

Week 13: Thurs, Nov. 27 at Cowboys – The Eagles will travel to Dallas on a short week to take on the Cowboys in their first Thanksgiving Day game since 2008.

Week 14: Sun, Dec. 7 vs. Seahawks – The Eagles are lucky to get the Seahawks at home rather than having to take the trip out to Seattle, but they’re also lucky to get the Seahawks in a sandwich game between contests with the 49ers, who they play in Week 13 and Week 15. The Seahawks are 2-10 straight up and ATS in their last 12 games after facing the 49ers.

Week 15: Sun, Dec. 14 vs. Cowboys – The Eagles begin a stretch of three consecutive games against divisional opponents at home against a Cowboys team that usually picks up their play down the stretch. This stretch of games could decide whether or not the Eagles make the postseason.

Week 16: Sat, Dec. 20 at Redskins – Another big game inside the division, this one on the road against a tough opponent in the Redskins. This game will mark the Eagles’ second look at DeSean Jackson in a Reskins uniform.

Week 17: Sun, Dec. 28 at Giants – The Eagles could be emotionally drained by this contest. They’ll play on Thanksgiving Day, against the Super Bowl champion Seahawks, then three straight inside the division, including back-to-back road games.
