Cowboys Odds to win the 2015 Super Bowl XLIX: 48/1
Cowboys Odds to win the 2015 NFC Conference: 25/1
Cowboys Season Win Total: 10 wins

Here’s a look at the Dallas Cowboys’ schedule for the upcoming season.

Week 1: Sun, Sept. 7 vs. 49ers – A tough draw in the opening week. They’ll get the game at home, but the 49ers are coming off back-to-back victories over Aaron Rodgers in their last two openers, which doesn’t bode well for Tony Romo, Scott Linehan, and the Cowboys’ passing offense.

Week 2: Sun, Sept. 14 at Titans – The Cowboys could be searching for their first victory in Tennessee against a Titans team enjoying their home opener. Playing on the road against a team playing their home opener didn’t work out well for the Cowboys last year when they got spanked by the Chiefs.

Week 3: Sun, Sept. 21 at Rams – After playing outdoors in Tennessee, the Cowboys will be happy to move back into a dome, though the Rams’ fierce pass rush will surely prove a test for the Cowboys’ offensive line.

Week 4: Sun, Sept. 28 vs. Saints – The Cowboys and Saints will play under the lights on Sunday night, and it will be the third road game in four weeks for the Saints. The Saints will also be coming off the emotional high of playing their home opener the week before.

Week 5: Sun, Oct. 5 vs. Texans – The Cowboys get their first look against their instate rivals’ new defensive end combination in J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney of the Texans.

Week 6: Sun, Oct. 12 at Seahawks – Fierce pass rushes are a regular order for the Cowboys in the opening weeks of the season. The team looked lost playing at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City a year ago. Playing in Seattle is going to really test them.

Week 7: Sun, Oct. 19 vs. Giants – Speaking of teams with fierce pass rushes, the Giants are up next for the ‘Boys. Eli Manning will surely be looking to bounce back after a rough season a year ago. Picking on the Cowboys has been part of his standard operating procedure.

Week 8: Mon, Oct. 27 vs. Redskins – The Cowboys will have a chance to view some tape of the Redskins and their new offensive and defensive systems before taking the team on. Testing Robert Griffin III’s mobility will surely be a priority.

Week 9: Sun, Nov. 2 vs. Cardinals – A little gift from the schedule makers here as the Cowboys get to stay home on a short week, though facing a tough Arizona Cardinals team will test the Cowboys’ offense, as this is a matchup where Jason Garrett would prefer some extra time to prepare.

Week 10: Sun, Nov. 9 at Jaguars (in London) – The Jaguars have more experience playing overseas, and they look like a team that’s going to be much-improved this season. It will be tough sledding, particularly given that the weather will be unpredictable, but luckily for the ‘Boys, this counts as a road game for them.

Week 11: BYE

Week 12: Sun Nov. 23 at Giants – A late bye week for the Cowboys leads right into a tough slate of games, including three inside the division, and two on Thursdays. The Giants come first, and that extra week of prep time should do the Cowboys’ defense a world of good.

Week 13: Thurs, Nov. 27 vs. Eagles – A Thanksgiving date at home is nothing new for the Cowboys. This game could carry major divisional implications, and it will be an important one for the Cowboys who follow it up with back-to-back road games.

Week 14: Thurs, Dec. 4, at Bears – After the emotional high of playing at home on Thanksgiving against a divisional foe, the Cowboys will head out to Chicago to take on a tough Bears team in what could be some unfavorable weather.

Week 15: Sun, Dec. 14 at Eagles – A second consecutive road game in what could be bad weather, though the team will have the luxury of some extra time to prepare for this one.

Week 16: Sun, Dec. 21 vs. Colts – Andrew Luck has picked up his game as the season has progressed the last two years, and that means seeing the Colts this late on the schedule is bad news for the Cowboys.

Week 17: Sun, Dec. 28 at Redskins – It’s back to the road for the regular season finale in the team’s third road game in four weeks. The team hasn’t fared well in these games in recent years, and the Redskins look like a team ready to play at a high level again this season.
