NFL Power Rankings – Where Every Team Sits After Week 4
Week 4 of the season is in the books – a quarter of the season is over for most clubs and the cream is really rising to the top. A number of undefeated teams fell this week and tumbled down the Rankings – there were a few teams that impressed themselves into the top 12 as well.
A new top dog has emerged this week – no slight to the Seahawks. Let`s see where the other teams fall in this week`s edition of Dave B`s Power Rankings
1. BRONCOS (Last Week: 2)
Pretty hard to knock the Hawks out of top spot but C’mon! They have 179 points scored in four games – nobody seems to be able to stop them but themselves! With the defense only getting better, there doesn’t seem to be one hole on this team. Unquestionably #1 this week based on the fact that nobody has come close to them all season long.

2. SEAHAWKS (Last Week: 1)
Impressive comeback win against Houston has the Hawks riding a two game road winning streak! Scary for the rest of the league that this team has learned to win away from home! When the passing isn’t clicking, the running game picks up the slack, when the running game stalls the passing game comes alive and when the entire offense struggles, the defense is there to ensure the win. The Hawks are mighty impressive aren’t they?
3. SAINTS (Last Week: 4)
The Saints put an absolute beat down on the previously undefeated Dolphins Monday night. The Drew Brees/Jimmy Graham combo is unstoppable and the defense is doing its part. The Saints are 4-0 and a deserving #3 on the Rankings this week.
4. PATRIOTS (Last Week: 7)
Say what you want about New England not acquiring any style points but the fact remains – they keep winning! An uber-impressive win on the road in Atlanta has the Pats top 5 and looking like they may improve before season’s end!
5. CHIEFS (Last Week: 5)
Taking care of the ball and 4-0! Who would have thought? They have already doubled their 2012 win total. Andy Reid is looking like the Coach of the Year by a landslide.
6. COLTS (Last Week: 8)
It is hard to believe that Andrew Luck is only in his second year! He looks like a true veteran and with the added element of a strong running game; Indy suddenly looks like a favorite in the AFC.
7. LIONS (Last Week: 17)
The Lions are 3-1 and are coming off a sound beating of their NFC North foe Chicago. They look as complete as they have in a while – defense is solid, passing is great and Reggie Bush looks like a difference maker!
8. BEARS (Last Week: 3)
The Bad Jay Cutler showed up in Week 4 and threw away the game against Detroit. They fall five spaces but could re-emerge if they get back to taking care of the ball. Good teams suffer through adversity – we`ll see if Chicago is a good team in the upcoming weeks!
9. 49ERS (Last Week’s Ranking: 13)
Finally looked like the Niners we expected with their win Thursday night but the victory was against a seemingly inept St. Louis Rams team. San Fran rediscovered Frank Gore – it’s a good thing with Aldon Smith gone for a while, Patrick Willis, Mario Manningham and Michael Crabtree on the sidelines. [soliloquy id=”82219″]
10. DOLPHINS (Last Week: 6)
The Fins weren`t going to win every game this year – a loss to the Saints certainly isn`t the end of the world. Cameron Wake should return this week which makes this team a whole lot better!
11. TITANS (Last Week: 16)
It is hard to fathom the Titans this high but they deserve it! The loss of Jake Locker will hurt though.
12. TEXANS (Last Week: 12)
Let one get away last week against Seattle but reasonably they deserved to win. Matt Schaub scare the heck of every Texans fans but with Arian Foster and an insane defense there is no reason they stay out of the top 10.

16. COWBOYS (Last Week: 10)
17. FALCONS (Last Week: 14)
